To have a group to never give up hope is awesome!
Oregon? 1970? Hmm… serial killer?? So happy they uncovered her remains, now we need to find out who did this to her.
I bet it was u

Hopefully this leads to justice for her.
After 54 years, hard to say. Assume that the perp had to be at least 16 years old because they had to be able to drive to get her out to that location. The perp is now a minimum of 70 years old but most likely much older. My hope is that Sandra Young’s family is not pinning their hopes on a living suspect being tried in court because they could be dead, have advanced dementia, have medical conditions (such as a stroke) that makes it impossible for them to assist in their own defence, etc.
After all these years very doubtful. Only way it happens is if someone confessed
@@GrainneDhub-ll6vwThey didn’t have to be 16. They could have been an unlicensed 12 yr old. No one knows except the killer and the victim.
@@ukmedicfrcs Possible but unlikely. At 12, he would have had to be a really big 12 year old to have the strength to carry out the crime. Even if it were an unlicensed 12 year old, the years are still creeping up and the sort of 12 year old that could carry out such a crime successfully is not likely to have lived the sort of life to be a healthy 64+ year old now.
A lot of times in these cold cases the person eventually went to prison for another (similar) crime. If that’s the case here, her family can at least experience some peace in knowing that person didn’t get to live the rest of their life free from any consequences.
Where tf is 20, 19, 21 and 23 for those of us that don’t live in Oregon?? That doesn’t make any sense!
really poor editing and posting my junior college media types: they should NOT post online unless they account for “Grant HS”/?? Which one? Oregon? How dies she end up in a remote rural marsh area ?? Was there any trauma? 1970? College nearby? Ever check THAT??
I thought this racist country only cared about missing White women? Yet another example of how the US has changed, yet so many refuse to accept it.
Sickening! What utter skum this country has!!
Everyone who voted for Biden has the UGA nurses blood on their hands. Trump 2024 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Close the border!!!!!!
Spectacular! Please find all of the missing in America!

wow fifty years so she wore wigs she was gorgeous a model for sure sandra young did she come across a photographer i knew a dirty old man photographer chuck his first name he was a groomer for sure
Joyce, no Hon, this right here isn’t an actual wig . the texture is NOT the same. its her own hair straightened and curlers gave it a bit of volume. straightened afro curls have their distinctive appearance when straighened, if you know you know. and she was a teenager, at that age hair has more natural volume since people are the picture perfect of good health at that age
um a boy scott leader huh huh those guys huh suspicious run the dna on that dude next she went to school huh no dna huh well i can say m glad now someone found her and told the family ty this kind of caring should have been done many years many years ago what they said another street walker another drug user smetimes women are just walking or thinking they are with friends .. well … huh …
You mainstream politically correct cowards. Howsabout reporting on the Georgia murder story: that the murderer is an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT that crossed the border in Sept 2022 and WAS RELEASED bc there was no room in the detention center. Joe, Mayorkas, and Joe voters have innocent blood on their hands.

A federal grant for DNA test?
It’s not just the DNA test, it’s hundreds of hours of research putting together family trees until they found where the two family trees intersected. It’s highly skilled work, so I’m guessing that such researchers are paid a hick of a lot more than $20/hour.
@@GrainneDhub-ll6vw Right. It’s a lengthy process involving genetics, DNA, family history, etc., not just a drop of saliva in a test-tube.
Yes. What’s so confounding?
Alot of ⚪️ men have been captured after their DNA matched to crimes of the past. I would be cautious around them

“Resolution” is a better way to put it; “closure” is overused and seldom experienced, as anyone who has suffered traumatic loss will attest to.
Her family knows that she didn’t run away and abandon them, so I agree. Resolution is the right word.
I despise the word closure used for love one’s.
The picture didn’t look much like her but glad there are people out there who never forgot about victims from the past and do their best to identify them no matter how many decades have gone by.
It’s pretty good considering they were guessing her appearance based on a genome

WOW
I wonder what happened, she was born after my parents, I wonder what she would’ve been doing today if she were alive.
Saundra would have been the same age as Diana Ross today. she probably would have been a great grand mother too . this the reason why , while i grieve all humans i have a special thought for ladies that pass before their time because it is a whole genetic lineage that disappears just like “that”.
weird: excitement based on the fact that poor girl was murdered
Sandra Young is an adult now.
So what happened to her?🤷🏾♂️
They only care about white people they only try and figure what happen to white women !
50 years 😢 cold case 😮
She didn’t get live her life 😮
Jerry Brudos pretty sure they already looked at him. Richard Laurence Marquette.
look at LAPD Chief Michel Moore and Boyscouts for long cover up.
Don’t care for “rural” location’s seem to harbor lot’s of psycho’s
there’s like a 1-2% Black population in Oregon. It’s commendable that authorities continued to work towards identifying this teenager. I hope they will continue to investigate her cause of death and hold anyone accountable that may be responsible.
first thing that came to mind. and twasn’t uncommon during that era for families to not report and instead search theirselves because of the intimidation they themselves faced
RIP 🕊️
