Israel has continued its bombardment of the Gaza Strip, as Palestinians began their fast, during the first day of Ramadan.
Palestinians are observing the Muslim holy month in the face of constant bombing and famine with Israel restricting the entry of food into Gaza.

As a teacher raised in the Christian faith in the U.S. I am so fortunate to have taught Muslim children from many countries. Their families are kind, strong and they only want the best for the children. It is really sad for me to see the people of Palestine treated this way by western leaders and Israel.
