Medical teams in southern Gaza have recovered more than a dozen bodies from the ruins of Hamad Town in Khan Younis. The Palestine Red Crescent Society were able to get into the area and transport the bodies to Al Aqsa Hospital after Israeli forces withdrew from the neighbourhood on Wednesday.

Here is my confusion. Before October 7th everyone called gaza the biggest prison in the world and concentration camps and apartheid and unlivable conditions. Now after the October 7th a attack that prompted the Israeli response, gaza was sky rises and shops and beach front communities and universities and museums and hospitals
Things are not black and white, there was ease and there was suffering, but the fact is that Gaza has always been occupied by the state of Israel
Most of the buildings and streets were built by Israelis before the Palestinians took over. The Palestinians never used the money that they got from the charity of other countries which was meant to be used to build a new and vibrant society. The trouble was, all money all went to the resistance movement (tunnels and weapons) and to the top Hamas leaders who live in luxury in other countries.
It was and is open air prison, no one could go in or out without permission from Israel. Listen Palestinians deserve sovereignty too, this is unjust. Free Palestine.
