Inflation is down but still a way to go: BOE’s Bailey

The Bank of England on Thursday held interest rates steady at 5.25%, but hinted at cuts on the horizon as inflation falls faster than expected.

“In recent weeks we’ve seen further encouraging signs that inflation is coming down,” Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey said in a statement.
