In South Korea, senior doctors and professors at medical schools are submitting their resignations in support of striking trainee doctors.
They want the government to withdraw its plan to increase student enrollment in medical training institutes.
The government says more doctors are needed to cope with the country’s rapidly aging population.

Truly, these so called senior doctors is just don’t have the trainee doctors to push around doing menial and tedious job for them anymore, so.. rather than they the one being push around doing menial and tedious job by Hospital management and director, they “support” the trainee doctors and do this “support” show

They contradict themselves when they want to reduce working hours while not allowing the government to increase the medical enrollment target from 3,000 to 5,000. Who will do the work when they take time off and make patients wait?
I don’t get it they work 52 hours and still protest new doctors entering into the profession so that their workloads maybe reduced and have healthy work balance relationships 😅😅😅but why though I don’t get this..
Try watch the new in English speaking Korean news network. Korean’s comment is more detail. Long story short: Korean doctors has a lot complain for long long time. Korean govt try to make them as bad people so they can get more votes in election this year.
