Jerry Springer big brother??😂
I think he pronounces it wrong, no? Isn’t it said with two short i’s?
Precisely, @kckirk1217. “Syzygy” has three syllables, and the YouTube-video speaker – an astrophysicist in a NASA shirt! – somehow managed to mispronounce all of them. Worse, his pronunciation (ZYE-guh-zee) transposed the “g” and the “z” (implying a spelling of “sygyzy”). That’s kind of like a presidential historian pronouncing Coolidge as “Luke-idge.” The syzygy pronunciation that you are used to, @kckirk1217, is SIZZ-i-jee (or SIZZ-uh-jee, where the “y” in the second syllable is a schwa sound (like the “i” in pencil)).
…No, the moon does not orbit the Earth every day. It takes approximately 27.3 days for the moon to complete one orbit around the Earth…
We are orbiting the sun every day, but we don’t orbit the sun in a day.
I’m sure he knows what he meant. He’s shirt does say nasa. Not like they give those shirts to just anyone…🤔
His shirt orbits him every day.
