@@LandonDean-zk4wn Fair point. In my layman view the dark horse has always been Apple, if it decides to start manufacturing their own GPU’s. They have all the ingredients to; talent, lotta $ and now Ai which is a rising use case could become in future a compelling driver for them to start.
Their revenue from gaming is like 2% of nvidia’s total revenue
I do think their new projects will sell well to datacenters but we will see
Until they release an open source competitor to CUDA, I’m not worried
As a non investor of Nvidia I came to the same conclusion after looking for justification to buy in. That companies are looking to work with designers like ARM and make their own
