People travel to Japan for relaxation, culture, history, shopping and the food. But it’s also perceived as being safe, clean and cheaper than usual, which are all important drivers since the pandemic, reports CNBC’s Travel Eidtor Monica Pitrelli.

I think the next travel destination should be to visit Monica 😂
Yen losing to most other fiat currencies, making it a cheaper country to visit.

Travel to Vietnam❤fun, cheap, safe
But it’s not Japan though? 🤭
It must be very humid in Vietnam
@@containedhurricane you can try Danang beach, we stay there 2 weeks every year. Not humid at all. Hanoi is great in Oct & Nov
@@adlerzwei you are right. I went to Tokyo last November. Good experience though.
So many scams 😭
Yes Japan 🇯🇵 is super cheap right now and that is the reason for many to visit. However if you don’t enjoy crowded places long lines and traffic jams I would recommend to stay away as you are not going to enjoy it. As well it needs to be noted that Japanese alway prefer local to out of Japan tourists. In a big and obvious way. Popular places have signs all over of what not to do in their establishments that you feel like you are not welcomed. Even toilets have pictures of how to use them etc.
having said that Japan can be a the most memorable travel experience for most folks just be aware the whole world is here right now!
weak yen
Clean, Safe, Orderly, Super Low Crime, it’s the land of Nintendo & Sushi. What’s not to love?!
Went there 2 weeks ago. The yen collapsed and the dollar conquered while I was there 🤑
I have been to Japan 3 times. Here is the list of why…
1) Safety (unlike USA)
2) Clean (unlike USA)
3) Pleasant (unlike USA)
4) Uniqueness (unlike USA)
5) Affordability (unlike USA)
6) Efficiency (unlike USA)
and yet U.S get way more illegal immigrants year after year. Why didn’t they just move to Japan, since it’s much better? 🤔
@@peter320vn Language barrier + strict immigration law in Japan
@@peter320vnbecause it’s an island?
The salary standard in Japan is also quite low as compared to the ones in the US
I completely agree. I can add more, at least I think I represent most of Indonesian tourists about Japan.
7) The food is just so delicious
8) Every corner of Japan is INSTAGRAMABLE
9) There are so many things that you can buy. From expensive items to cheap items for giving to your coworkers or relatives. It is in our culture to come back not with empty handed.
10) Asian loves anime, so going to Japan is like a pilgrimage
Hei hei hooooooooa ✊🏾😎🇯🇵
It’s because its civilized.
I just went a few weeks ago. It’s awesome
Fun place cheap fx why not
Uhmm… have you seen the exchange rate?
What kind of drama is going on in China this time
As a travel destination, North Korea is safe and wonderful, not Japan.
Peaceful country who doesnt lecture other countries…nice ppl….best place
I know two people that just went.
Exchange rate
beautiful Monica..lovely hair and skin
Because Anime and Manga turned the world into Weebs. 😂
So much so that Kyoto had to ban them from its Geisha district. All because moronic tourist thinking that historical sites are like Disneyland.
When visiting Japan.
Do not litter. There are no trash cans. People are expected to carry trash with them until they go back to hotel, find a food court, or convenience store which have trash bins inside (they used to be outside but because they were over stuffed with trash, they are now kept inside).
Do not sit on temple grounds or make picnic on lawn near temple grounds. These are real places of worship, not a park.
There is more to Japan than just Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. Traveling to places that tours don’t go is best for less crowded experience. If back packing Europeans that can’t speak English or Japanese can do it, so can you.
Japan is much cheaper than Europe for an advanced country
Definitely not cheap coming from the US.
They need more Americans hopped up on bad television to serve in their understaffed and ineffectual army.
