Palestinian communities in northern Israel have recorded an increase in violence this year. Dozens of people have been killed and many more wounded.
The failure of Israel’s police to tackle the problem has caused a political dispute and provoked anger among the families of the victims.

But the nakba and the way Palestinian villages were torched and people were massacred and expulsed and continued oppression into the late 80s culminated into the extremism and drive to destroy a state that since its founding had committed unjustified oppression on Palestinians.
