On the eve of his testimony before a congressional committee, Sam Salehpour, a Boeing engineer, tells NBC News’ Tom Costello that he raised concerns to his superiors about a number of issues, including a gap between parts of the 787’s fuselage that is not up to Boeing’s specs. Boeing insists the plane is safe and has shown no signs of fatigue.

#Boeing #Aviation #Whistleblower
I saw this news last week on TikTok. Why it is so late on YouTube?
Whistle blower found dead after a few days
Another suicidal one
I enjoyed this Tabata! I followed it with the 30 minute upper body and 10 minute abs from a few days ago. Great workout, thanks Chris!
If it’s Boeing I ain’t going
Copypasta
then dont fly
It will probably take tens of years if not more before this story will actually reflect in actual airline fleets. As of now, I think safety agencies and airlines are more keen to understand how to maintain it so that all shortcomings are fixed.
So we should believe the credibility of Boeing?! 🫣🙄
Just because a whistleblower says something, doesn’t mean it’s true. Engineers opinion and interpretations differ all the time. The fact that no 787 or 777 has crashed after millions of miles and decades of service. The 787 is also made of one piece carbon fiber fuselage, almost impossible to break apart.
Wow you trust Boeing lol you’re a dummy
No 777 has crashed?
Two Malaysia airlines, one British Airways, one Asiana airlines…
Ok, one of the Malaysia was shot down.
Sounds like a plant to me…
@@filipeorr7821 Ok but none of those flights were Boeing design related. The other Malaysia flight was possibly caused by the pilot, and is technically unsolved anyway. Asiana was pilot error. BA was a design flaw in the engines, which aren’t designed by Boeing in the first place. As far as we should be concerned, the 777 is fine.
Don’t use it to go to the Titanic.
So Boeing has performed all the necessary stress tests 3 times the life of any 787 with the data to back it up. Yet, this quality engineer feels differently because he thinks it’s not good even though he admits he hasn’t see all the data. I’ve been in the aviation industry for 20+ years and have worked with some doofus quality engineers and this guy meets the criteria. BTW, I work for one of Boeing’s competitors and my opinion is for sure unbiased. Some people just want attention.
What last whistleblower was saying , he was talking about 787 , 787 had numerous problems since inception
@@asheeshtiwari5580 it did have problems, like every other aircraft and they were all solved.
The whistleblower didn’t only mention the 787, but also the 777, which Boeing did not deny…
That whistleblower sounds like he’s gonna whack somebody😅
“Boeing investigated itself and found nothing wrong”
And no evidence of murder.
@@filipeorr7821 there was no murder of anyone about 787 concerns
No! And no murders on people with dirt on the Clintons either!
Imagine if we put out a product that killed about 500 people. And then said “trust me. our product is safe now.”
Wrong airplane
@@dwaynedonnelly Wouldn’t someone working in the company telling you that there’s a production flaw with the 787 also be something that you need to know?
Human lives are cheap these days to Boeing
Like drug companies do ALL the time?
If it’s Boeing, I ain’t flying
You take ze airbus, Klaus! 🤥😁
then dont fly at all
Boeing and the FAA have lost all credibility. As far as im concerned any whistleblower has more credibility than that that manufacturer
These CNC production jobs just expect more and more numbers while quality suffers along with pay for their employees. What used to be a precision manufacturing job has become so automated that the skill level has declined and the pay is like $25-30 an hour ( if you’re lucky ). A CNC machinist deserves 50-60 an hour but they make garbage. Half of what it’s really worth. Profits and production come before safety and employees. They’re already behind schedule and more quality issues are sure to arise because of this.
Never get on Boeing plane! Got it.
Or airbus they have problems too
@@nickolliver3021 They probably do but no where as much or deadly as Boeing. Now Boeing is just a joke lol
So? Is this time going to be an accident or is it going to be another suicide?
We have a submarine situation.
GOP in U.S. Congress is antisemitics
Boeing says that they’re not concerned, but how many of them are flying on the plane. Boeing says that retaliation is prohibited which doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen. Boeing says that it encourages employees to speak up and come forward with their concerns, but it doesn’t say that it actually acts upon those concerns or anything that their employees bring forward.
Boeing: Let’s ignore this problem and see. What could go wrong?
Never go on new Boeing, rather fly older Boeing such as Boeing 707, 727, 737 (Original, Classic, NG), 747, 757, 767, 777, etc.
older Boeings will not fly for much longer
Soo Boeing acknowledged the gaps, and claim they fixed the problem years ago while the whistleblower is saying the problem isn’t fixed and will eventually happen later down the line … Who you think I’m about to believe???🤣
the plane might be temporaily grounded but only after 100s of people die…and then it’ll b put back up in the air with a literal bandaid that has a cartoon of the incredible hulk on it.
😂
why would 100s people die?
There has not been a single 787 hull loss resulting in any death in all of its operation resulting from fatigue… grow up
I believe the whistleblower. The whistleblower must be protected from getting fatally harm from Boeing company bosses.
he was proved wrong!
@@nickolliver3021by who?
@nickolliver3021 by who exactly. Even this former ntsb and faa investigator does not know fully considering his statement in this video is according to boeing
@@tjpassig208 by Boeing duh!
@@Wongseifu548 boeing said that there is no evidence of structural damage to 787s at the time they investigated hundreds of aircraft in service.
Yeah sure. Boeing encourages its employees to come found… like the one that was recently put in the ground. How much longer can these companies be allowed to prioritize profit over human life?
Boeing is all on that Stockton Rush type of denial. “Composites are superior, yada yada…”
“Inaccurate.” Not, “False.”
As long as the money they would have to pay out to victims of accidents doesn’t exceed profits, they don’t care.
Its false 😂 he made a baseless claim with no evidence to back it up
Is it the same whistleblower that schiff had
He’s about to get Boeing’d like John Barnett.
Let me guess, he committed suicide this morning?
Along with Robin Williams, Bourdain, and lots others have,😊
Oh whatever. The news is just trying to do anything to dis Boeing. I’m so sick and tired of the FAA and news hating on Boeing. The Boeing 787 is a proven aircraft that has been successfully in service for many years. Poor Boeing.
Dude basically said he’s willing to die because we’ve gotten to a point where a corporation can murder you and everyone calls it suicide
“Beoing” and “whistleblower” in the same title seems to lead to “suicide”
I’m flying from Denver to Frankfurt one 😂 helllllppppp hahahahaha
R.i.p
It’s a Boeing? Thanks, I’ll walk.
It will be a long walk but I’m with you
flying is safer?
@@nickolliver3021if you take Airbus yes
@@ieonard2508 not really if something horrible goes wrong
RIP
Stress testing one aircraft does not ensure the safety of an entire fleet of aircraft. checks and balances do the FAA need to do in-person inspections and not let Boeing do it themselves. Boeing should also do inflight testing and not computer simulations for testing of newer aircraft. Also recreating order of operation in their production is important every shift should need to sign off on the work done so the upcoming shifts know and don’t miss something basic and important like bolts to a door plug.
He should take out a multimillion dollar life insurance
These so-called whistleblowers should be investigated themselves also because the say-so of a single employee at whatever level they were should not hold such power that would bring down a massive company like Boeing which has such stellar safety issues before the new generation planes. Boeing was leading Airbus in a massive way in all sectors until the sudden demise of the Max and the issues with the 777X the Dreamliner was leading in its sector by massive margins, it has been flying for so many years without issues until this so-called alert, not by a pilot or ground inspection crew or any buyers of the plane but by someone who probably has an axe to grind. So again I ask the question- who gains from the scandals of Boeing? China can’t sell its failed venture with Russia’s offering in the COMAC C919, Airbus made a white elephant in the A£*) which is already out of production in less than 20 years, the A350 is a good aircraft but was outsold by the Dreamliner and the threat of the 777X was looming to further disrupt the success of A350, the A220 series was potentially popular but was still behind the 737 series led by the MAX. On another note there’s a war going on in Ukraine and the aggressor there has taken some massive blows in sanctions and the battlefield even with their commercial planes grounded because of lack of service and spare parts so could it be they in consort with China corrupt bad actors? Remember they would like to see a flagship of America fail on the world stage. It is also very very sad that the American media is part of the pitchfork carriers doing all this hurt to Boeing. Sad.
Paper thin gaps retightened in 2020, and no evidence of fatigue in over 3X the flights in a lifespan. And the FAA checks every new plane…. Its safe this is dumb. 15 minutes of fame for these “whistleblowers”
FAA “certified” Boeing planes keep landing less of a plane than when they took off. God forbid if half a Dreamliner breaks off after take off!
why would it
Boeing says it’s safe so we should believe them? 😂😂😂
Actually you believe whomever you want amigo, we have no control or care over what you believe amigo.😊🍻✌🏻
@@buzz5969 I do believe what I want…doosh-canoe
not for not…but the plane shown on the diagram in the article was an airbus A330!
Glad someone caught that error.
Nice catch!
Boeing is not concerned, but the rest of the world is. Flying these days is like playing Russian roulette. Which flight is next to have a partial or total collapse?
depends if the industry is going downhill to being closed down for good
He sounds like Buddy Hackett 🤣
Whistleblowers coming out of the woodwork. Media hacks need to be careful of reporting unfounded allegations.
Are we safe to fly new boeing planes, no we are not, to many flaws.
like all planes have
We will miss you Mr whistle blower 🫡🫡
Any minute now, we’ll find him dead cause he “killed” himself.
Every time we fly these days, it’s like gambling our lives 😢
I’ll try to select Airbus planes
Airbus planes have issues too try not to fly in this case
We have all learned that Boeing lies.
These Boeing g whistleblowers just happen to be disgruntled union members who are deflecting responsibility from their own Washington state product into the non union assembly plant in South Carolina. This is just angry union members blaming non union members for their own flaws
All bs left stops flying ✈
p. didy party list : OPRAH, PRINCE HARRY, HUNTER BIDEN, THE OBAMA’S , THE CLINTON’S AND FBI AGENT’S, AND 6 DEMOCRAT CONGRESSMEN, AOC AND OMAR , ADEM SHIFT
If you work for a large publicly traded company. You already know 😂.
If that’s the case then fly with airbus. Boeing’s quality control issues will potentially have a major incident down the road.
Airbus has issues too so no one should fly them either
I believe Sam, protect him. His life is in danger.
yet he was proved wrong
Once Boeing execs murder this whistleblower, the ENTIRE company should be shut down and fully investigated.
At 33,000ft a paper thin opening is enormous
No it is not… if you knew anything about how aircraft work that is literally nothing.
A CAR is SAFER when You can Drive😂😂😂😂😂
So many experts, so little wisdom…
This plane needs to be gone. Give it a rest Boeing
To date have there been any incidents involving the fuselage of the 787 Dreamliner ?
None of this makes any sense.
Where is the proof?
Yea they were also fully confident of their 737-max. “If its Boeing Im not going” should be their new slogan. Pathetic. You want play games with peoples lives, go ahead but I will be flying airbus from now on.
I don’t believe this guy one bit
I flown dozends of 787s and have never been in any 787 (no matter how new) that didn’t have any problems.
Broken seats, broken entertainment systems, windows, toillets whatever. Of course, Boeing fanatics will claim that none of these are safety-relevant, but it says a lot that on average my 787 flights have had more problems than my 767 flights (with airplanes that are 20+ years old).
This whistle-blower should do a permanently twitch stream to make sure his safe.
Dreamliner became dream dead coffin………!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make in the US are always garbages just like American cars………!!!!!!!!!!!
Boeing its over…😢
Boeing use to be a good company but they’re going down hill
The Corporate world will bump him off for whistle blowing!
LOL 787 is one of the safest planes in operation. This guy is a joke.
These warnings are starting to sound like threats. We’re at war whether you’d like to admit it or not.
Guy did this while working with murderers oof!
I’m so grateful to every whistleblower! Thank you. As for the FAA, ground all planes and fix these problems. You now know what many of them are!
✈️ Airbus | 🛬💥 Boeing
one week later
Boeing whistleblower found dead with three bullets in his head. FBI said it was a suicide
Boeing: trust me bro
Have any of these other whistleblowers agreed to come forward? “No, frankly they’re terrified.” Gee I wonder why. Odd that they don’t want to get offed like John Barnett.
The problem with Boeing is – it is loosing to Airbus big time, and it just doesn’t want to let it go. Only solution I could see is – nationalizing it at least partly. This is one of those examples where private sector which suppose to be doing better “innovation” is actually loosing to multi government owned Airbus.
They doing a number on Boeing after all these decades
According to boeing that is the part of the statement that should make pei0le thino
Yeah, I don’t trust Boeing for 💩
Boeing: Killary we got a job for you
Boeing will Fix all 787 Dreamliner and 737 MAX Problems
A production flaw is like the bathroom door is installed in a way, that it might be stuck and slam into someone’s face if they pull it too hard. This is premeditated homicide.
Well so called “Bad managers”. Time out. Tell me month of your birthday I will tell you real reason 😂
If it’s Boeing, you are dieing…
Jail for Boeings CEO and anyone who knew about the safety problems.
Don’t worry bro, we will get him
– Boeing
If it’s Boeing I’m not going.
When covering up lies. You will commit lies, lies and lies.
Boring has killed one before, dont let them get to this guy.
Boeing is such a great company they will fix this issue!!!
Citizens United Supreme Court ruling empowered corporations to buy Politicians and thereby capture institutions including FAA, FCC, FDA, CDC, and Fauci’s NIAID.
I personally really enjoyed my experience on the 787. This is uncomfortable to hear!
