Students can protest. It’s their right. But when it verges into hate speech and violence, they are no longer students; they become rioters and criminals. Period. If they prevent students from going to class, then they’re breaking the law. Period. And I don’t give a s–t which side you’re on. As for the demands of divestment, go for it. Kiddies, how about the wealthy donors–not all of whom are Jewish, by the way–stop giving your universities money so the unis can dish out scholarships? Or they shut down your programs forever? Think that over.
And maybe, just maybe, the universities won’t allow you to graduate. Think THAT over.
I do have one question: Are ALL the protesters from those universities, or are there some malcontents who simply hate Israel and Jews in general and want their fifteen minutes? I doubt most sincerely that all the protestors are students. I doubt most sincerely that even five percent of the protesters are palestinian or Muslim. Solidarity, you say? My a–.
