SEC allowing the creation of ether ETFs could pave the way for global crypto acceptance, says CEO

The Securities and Exchange Commission last week approved a rule change that would allow for the creation of ether ETFs, less than six months after it approved bitcoin ETFs.

While a date for ether ETFs to start trading has not been set, the SEC order could lead to other regulators around the world taking more crypto-friendly, positive stances, says BitGo CEO Mike Belshe.
