They demanded new elections and the return of captives held in Gaza. Large protests have been held weekly in the city, criticising Netanyahu’s handling of the nearly nine-month-old war in Gaza, which began after Hamas’s October 7 attack on southern Israel.

What may be interesting to others the world over is that the people the world over have very little power over their governments actions.
