#JohnnyGaudreau #Hockey #Death
RIP Johnny Hockey
Too many reckless people on the roads. Too much alchohol served in the US. Every night bars serve it up and watch people walk out the door and get in the car to drive. Waaaaaay too much. Impatient, reckless, thoughtless….brainless
Go Flyers

Time to blame everyone except the drunk driver
So….don’t know why anyone would attend a wedding anyway. The guys should have stayed home, including the drunk
Driving is the most dangerous thing we do each day. The driver of my car was killed 44 years ago. I survived I was 14 he was 29. We were hit by a drunk driver.
If he said he had “approximately” five to six beers,🙄 it was probably closer to ten or twelve. 👀 🤨
You have to drink an insane amount of beer to get drunk. Liquor gets you way more drunk than beer.
Why were they cycling at nigh and on a narrow road. I’m a cyclist and would never cycle at night.Cycling during the day is dangerous enough people need to use common sense in which we lost in today’s society
@@rickhammond2473the size of the road had nothing to do with it. The driver was drunk and trying to pass a SUV on the wrong side. He tried to pass the vehicle on the right hand side he should’ve passed on the left like you’re supposed to
Very sad day! Praying for family! This is why we have Uber and other sources.
2 b fair!! The team was still struggling even after his signing. He wasn’t as prolific as he was in Calgary which made the contract all the more questionable. Despite that there was hope that he would bounce back especially with the signing of his former Flame teammate & best friend Sean Monahan.
You okay?
2 b fair, someone lost their life but your concerned about their contract with the team
You sick bud?
@@asanwers The report brought up the fact that his signing was hope 4 a struggling franchise!! All that I’m pointing out is that he struggled in CBJ & that his signing hadn’t lifted the organization 2 the heights that they hoped 4. Now there were a lot of issues with the team whether it was management or the coaching situation which was a dumpster fire. However he was recieving criticism from fans & media 4 his lack of production. Everybody who’s a fan of CBJ or just a hockey fan in general was looking 4ward 2 him getting back on track especially with the signing of Sean Monahan. But I not surprised that u jumped 2 conclusions given your lack of comprehension & understanding.
@@wilnerolivier7971uh, cool, but a family was just utterly destroyed. Maybe not the time to split hairs?
The day before their sister’s wedding, Matthew’s wife is pregnant, his best friend signed with CBJ for 5 years so their kids could grow up together. Everything about this tragedy cuts deep.
Makes me sick just thinking about the family right now. The circumstances of this situation are beyond sad.
Well I didn’t know this at all because I am not fan of Hockey but that is terrible for both of them to died together as brothers especially they were going to be at there sister’s wedding and they both are gone too soon hit by a drunk driver with the motorcycle accident. I Can’t believe what is happening in the year of 2024 with young players being gone too soon.
This is so tragic. Such unnecessary and avoidable trauma inflicted on a completely innocent unsuspecting family. The most despicable part is that this is not the first incident of this nature.
Everyone is talking about the drug epidemic, which is serious, but those cases do not have the same catastrophic effects devastating multiple lives the same way alcohol does.
For everyone pointing their finger at the driver, you have every right to. Take note how fast things can happen and how quickly things can go wrong. Texting, looking at your phone, letting yourself get distracted is just as bad as driving impaired. I beg everyone to remember the phone call can wait, and rushing might get you there 5 min sooner, but maybe not at all. I have been guilty in the past of rushing to the next red light, only to see that slow poke pull up next to me. Everyone who is asked thinks they are in the top 95 percent of drivers, as we know the numbers do not add up. Prayers for the family and prayers that some have learned from the pain of their loss.
Prayers and condolences
I think alcohol should be banned from the U.S.
😢 prayers to the family 🙏 waheguru, my heart is broken for the family 💔
I hope this man knows what he’s taken from this world. I’m an Avs fan who grew up watching Johnny hockey making his beautiful plays in Calgary he truly revolutionized the game for the better. Mathew as well was a husband and developing the youth of hockey. Shame on this man and may god bless their souls the world lost great men this last week.
