Yeah, me to. I will go for walks but not air travel. When I tried to plan a trip in October I noticed it was more expensive to travel around Thanksgiving. I will avoid traveling on that weekend. Maybe travel some other week when others are busy working or in school. It is still a nice month to travel in as the weather is generally nice in places I would choose to go. In November it starts to be cold and I am also guessing traveling around American thanksgiving would also not be the best time.

The Trump administration did no such thing. Gas prices fell during Covid and that was simply the law of supply and demand. Gas prices fell more during the Obama administration than the Trump administration if you remove the Covid months from 2020. Trump actually stifled domestic production not increased it. Do some research.
At $2 a gallon, there was no one was traveling due to Covid!.. traffic was reduced so much that the paved I95 through New York City!
The president doesn’t control gas prices. Besides back in 2020 there were gas stations with gas for $7-$8 because owners were lazy to change it. I’ve never paid $7-$8 for gas.
Trump did it by shutting down the country.

yes, yes, but the industry should already also have historical data to properly plan for the influx of travelers. It’s like every holiday is, “the most busiest traveling day…” which should not be the case! TSA, airports, and airlines should be well aware of incoming travelers as the majority of people actually buy tickets well in advance. Staff up accordingly. It’s rare to stroll into an airport to book a flight at the time of travel so again the data is there for each of the airports to react and plan accordingly.

If they want a 3 day vacation, can’t they find somewhere they can drive to in an hour or two?

It’s a good thing I got my air travel done a week before this video was uploaded. I feel bad for those who experienced cancelled or delayed flights. I know how bad a cancelled flight felt 2 years ago. I almost cried while leaving the airport.

This is what happens when 40+ weather modification companies, as well as half a dozen or more taxpayer funded agencies mess with the weather.
My parents chose to go with friends on a trip via car. They already saw the same or cheaper price for gas back in 2020 based on our state alone.

@@Just_a_normal_guy11 I get that, but the flights that leave Raleigh might be heading into an area that is impacted by the storms and they delay the start of the flight so they don’t have to circle in the sky awaiting weather to pass so they can land.. I live in OKC and we see the same things at times, clear blue skies and weather delays..
The general tone of alarm and chaos is way overblown here. A few hundred flights cancelled is a blip in a day of more than 5000 every day.

Glad I made it home yesterday with only a 3 hour delay.
The U.S. infrastructure is far behind other industrialized nations. While other countries rely primarily on high speed rail, the U.S. relies on jammed roadways and an over populated outdated air traffic system.
We traveled from Florence to Venice via high-speed rail. Our train arrived at Florence 3 hours late due to a signaling issue delaying our departure. A week later, I received an email with an apology for the delay and a 100% ticket price refund. All other rail connections and travel were right on schedule, comfortable, and very fast. I couldn’t agree with you more.

Currently the US is blowing the other industrial powers out the water economically… There’s not one country woth high speed rail thats actually thriving economically. Planes can change course at a moments notice you can’t do that with a train

In Washington Dulles, I was stranded at the airport for over 12 hours and then had to be transferred to Reagan Airport. The United States has some of the worst airports in the world. The staff every at these airports are so unprofessional and hateful

Why the last minute rush to fly for long weekend? Everyone had their chance for summer vacation. This the long weekend to kick back before those busy work days ahead. SMH
