I’m so scared hurricane heilene is in my trajectory path
sad 😢
I would not want to live in Florida! How exhausting having to constantly worry about a hurricane and the uncertainty of what’s going to happen. My family and I were in Florida on vacation when hurricane Charley hit! It was awful! It was a CAT 4 with winds up to 150mph. My sister and I were at the grocery store trying to get water and some essentials since we had just landed! It was complete chaos! People were hysterical- running down the grocery isles, fighting for water. We did not even have time to pay when everyone at the store started running out, including the workers! We were 15 minutes away from our hotel and I will never forget seeing the black sky and you could feel that something huge was coming our way. I remember our parents calling us frantically worried that we would not make it back to our hotel to take cover! We were in the eye of the storm! We’re from California, we don’t have hurricanes out here, so we were scared! We finally made it back, and got out of the car so fast, running like the devil was behind us! 😂We took cover and got as far away as we could from the windows! After the hurricane passed and we went outside to see the damage, it was a disaster! I remember pieces of debris, wood, roofs, trees, signs, and even fish lying around everywhere! Needless to say our fun vacation was over! Never again Florida!
