So why the hell aren’t doctors telling their patients this when they come in the door? You would think that the doctors would point out to patients that their Medicare plan doesn’t cover certain medications, and that if you don’t have a supplemental plan that pays for your medications, then you are stuck with no other support, and you’re going to have to pay out-of-pocket money that you may not have.
So consumers/patients need to be informed as to what is covered and what not covered , and so we’re completely blind as to what’s covered and what’s not covered, and then when we find out about what’s not covered we’re surprised/outraged at the enormity of the price tag.
So what has the incoming administration said about any of this? And why was it not more fully or vigorously discussed by the opposition candidate, is my question?
