@Akeida Barrow Not necessarily. My son and I have gotten it twice and both times we did fine. The worst of the first time for me was the worst ear infection I’ve ever had that I can recall in my entire life. There was kidney pain, chest pain, loss of smell on one side, my everything tasted watered down or bland, low grade fever, mostly nighttime shortness of breath and minor desaturations. Miserable for sure but not life threatening. The second time started with what felt like I was having a heart attack. It passed in 10 minutes or so and then I felt fine so I didn’t go to the doctor. I developed a mottled kind of appearance on my thighs. My sense of smell dipped again but came right back and I ran a higher low grade fever. Both times the fever lasted a little over 2 weeks. Kiddo never ran a fever. The highest I got with him is 99.3 by mouth. We both had yucky tummies the first time, my son moreso. He developed a raised, fleshtoned rash that appeared and spread like chickenpox save his face and arms but he said it didn’t bother him. He 3.5 years old. The second time he lost his appetite for a few days but I could have easily missed it had I not been watching for symptoms. The virus didn’t destroy her lungs. Her immune response to the virus destroyed her lungs. I bet her vitamin D levels were awful. That seems to be the thing that shows for developing a catastrophic immune response. Mine was 54ng/dl the first time and my son was at 45ng/dl. I maintain my 10800IUs power day and increased his to 2000IUs. I’ll retest us both through grassroots. You send blood on a card like they do for newborn screening and they email you your results. If everybody supplemented aggressively with vitamin D the overwhelming majority, like people not literally dying anyway, would be fine by they’re not telling people. The drugs and vaccines are more profitable. The don’t make a lot per shot but if billions of people of to take it because whatever reason, it adds up. The drugs are ridiculously expensive. It’s a good business model but a lot of people are going to die unnecessarily.

In my mind we’re all brothers and sisters no matter what and I love and support you even if you don’t have the same views as me. Lady Day – A friend had a heart transplant and was on the transplant list for a long time and carried a beeper so he could get to the hospital when the right heart came in. The beginning of March a lot of people still considered it a joke because there were very few cases and pretty much no officials were taking it seriously. These people are a gross minority of actual patients. The news can make it seem like anything is a big serious nationwide trend, whether it be shark attacks, abductions, or plane crashes. Diane Smith her age, her demographics, her medical history, her health status, the coverage & plan of her health insurance, having the financial funds to afford it, her likelihood of survival, the resources at the hospital she was at, finding a donor who gave her their lungs after they passed away, community support, her personal support team, and when it comes down to it, being on the receiving end of a miracle and simply, pure luck.
Overall though, the detrimental factors that significantly impact the likelihood of whether someone receives a transplant and when they receive it and how they receive it in non particular order are first, their age.
Age is important because the older they are the lower their chances are of receiving one rather quickly or all together.
The Next crucial factor is the patient’s likelihood of survival upon receiving the transplant versus their chances of survival if they were not to receive the transplant. This takes into account the patient’s medical history, lifestyle, and current health status which looks at morbidly and their projected life expectancy. For instance, if a patient who has chain smoked cigarettes for 30 years and has not quit upon the point of needing a lungs transplant, their chances of getting one are lowered. Or if an alcoholic who has abused alcohol for extended period of time and is in need of a liver transplant, the legal requirement for getting on a transplant list is that they have to of quit drinking and of stayed sober for 6 months and prove they have maintained sobriety (how they prove it to the doctors, I don’t know). If they don’t meet these requirements or do not maintain sobriety, they don’t get on the transplant list, or if already on it, their name gets taken off.
Another obvious factor is whether they have health insurance, and if they do, the insurance company must authorizes it and agree to cover the cost of the transplant. If they don’t have health insurance, or their insurance denies the transplant, then it would depend on whether the patient has access to economic funds to personally pay out of pocket for the costs of pre-opt, the surgery itself , hospital stays, rehabilitation post opt, doctor appointments and medications that are required for survival upon receiving a transplant; which 99.9% of all Americans would not be able to afford.
And of course who and/or which team of doctors that the patient has is also extremely important, as each doctor has their own unique approach to practicing medicine and speciality. The way in which doctors end up making decisions that directly and indirectly impact patients outcomes are unique as their personal life experiences, education, time spent practicing medicine, how durable the patient-provider relationship is that they form with each patient, personalities, perspectives, beliefs, moral values, interpretation, the level determination they have towards getting their patient to a particular outcome, and the passion they feel for medicine and role they play in helping society function in the healthiest way possible.
Why does it matter to you? Imagine if your family member was dying would you just let them die?
