Sudan says it has played an important role in helping refugees from Ethiopia despite its own economic difficulties. But this crisis is not the only challenge posed by the conflict. The al-Fashaga triangle, where most of the refugees are being hosted, covers an area of about 250 square kilometres and it has around 600,000 acres of fertile land.
