Israeli police say 300 people have been arrested after violent confrontations with Palestinians at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Occupied East Jerusalem. This comes after police raided the compound in the early hours of Friday as thousands of worshippers gathered for morning prayers. At least 150 people have been injured in the violence. Security forces in Colombia have captured Dairo Antonio Usuga, the country’s most wanted drug trafficker. Better known as Otoniel, the 50 year old was arrested on Saturday during an operation in a rural area of Colombia’s Uraba region, located in Antioquia province. Images circulating on social media show Otoniel handcuffed with his face planted to the ground. President Ivan Duque likened his arrest to the capture three decades ago of Pablo Escobar, the famed Colombian narco-trafficking kingpin. Taiwan seeks arrest warrant for suspect in deadly train crash

Officials in Taiwan say the death toll from Friday’s train crash could rise, as they search through the wreckage. Families of some of the 51 people known to have died so far held a vigil at the site. Rwandan genocide suspect Felicien Kabuga was arrested on Saturday near Paris after 25 years on the run, accused of playing a leading role in one of the worst massacres of the 20th century.
