Qatar’s Emiri Air Forces airlifted foreign nationals of friendly nations onboard its eleventh evacuation flight from Sudan on Wednesday, as the fighting between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continued into the second month. The UN says it has been able to deliver 15 tons of humanitarian aid to Sudan over the last month, including 50 truckloads within the first two days of the latest ceasefire. Rescue crews looking for the submersible vessel that went missing in the northern Atlantic Ocean are moving assets and focusing their search on an area where undersea noises have been detected, a US Coast Guard official has said. A delegation headed by several Horn of Africa leaders has reached a roadblock in its mediation effort to stop the fighting in Sudan. The Sudanese Foreign Ministry rejected the proposal made by eight African nations, saying the language surrounding the talks is incorrect. The government in Khartoum says describing the conflict as a ‘fight between two generals’ is a false narrative.
