Qatar’s Emiri Air Forces airlifted foreign nationals of friendly nations onboard its eleventh evacuation flight from Sudan on Wednesday, as the fighting between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continued into the second month.
The UN says it has been able to deliver 15 tons of humanitarian aid to Sudan over the last month, including 50 truckloads within the first two days of the latest ceasefire.
Aid agencies say half the population needs humanitarian assistance.
Al Jazeera’s Hashem Ahelbarra reports from Port Sudan, where people are trying to escape the fighting.
