Aid organisations are warning of an unfolding crisis on West Africa’s Atlantic coast, with a record number of migrants trying to make it to Europe. Last weekend, more than 2,600 migrants arrived on the shores of Spain’s Canary Islands. Indonesian community rescues stranded Rohingya refugees

At least 94 Rohingya refugees have been rescued by the local community in the Indonesian province of Aceh – after spending weeks at sea. At least 30 of them are young children – and many appeared to be unaccompanied.
