But it has opened with a controversial one, Jeanne du Barry, directed and portrayed by French director Maïwenn and starring American actor Johnny Depp. It tells the story of French King Louis XV’s favourite mistress. Actor Alec Baldwin to be charged with involuntary manslaughter after 2021 shooting. Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died after she was wounded by a gunshot during a scene rehearsal.
