US sends Patriot missile system to Poland

The US has sent its vice president, Kamala Harris, to Poland, along with a missile defence system, to reassure NATO allies. For now, the US has demurred to Ukrainian requests to establish a no-fly zone in Ukraine, instead focusing on drawing a red line at Poland. Russia sees sanctions hit with currency value drop
