With flights to Europe suspended, Russians who want to leave the country have few options.
One route that is still available is the train to Finland.
Around 5,000 Russians have made the journey in the last 10 days.
As Al Jazeera’s Paul Rhys reports from Helsinki, some do not know if they will return home.

Boy, how they have such story-like ways of explaining such a feeling, it’s incredible.
