More than 50 rockets have been launched from the direction of Gaza towards the city of Netivot, some 15km (9.3 miles) from the border. The Times of Israel and other Israeli media report it may be the largest rocket salvo in weeks. Footage posted on social media shows a building in Netivot severely damaged in the aftermath of the attack. Qatar has called for an immediate ceasefire and the release of all prisoners in the Gaza war. “The Israeli attacks against innocent civilians have become catastrophic and could spiral in a manner that threatens the region and the world. Israeli forces kill Palestinians in several operations At least five people have been killed by Israeli fire as the Israeli army carried out a number of overnight raids in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian officials.
