Iran’s cancellation of flights ‘critically important, should be monitored closely’: Analysis

Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) announced on Sunday that all flights to and from the country will be cancelled until Monday morning, as reported by the semi-official Mehr news agency. Iranian ex-president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad registers for June presidential elections

Iran’s former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is making a comeback bid in the upcoming presidential election. He’s the first prominent candidate to register for the elections set to take place on June 28th. Ahmadinejad previously served two four-year terms from 2005 to 2013.
