The Taliban will not agree to an extension of the evacuation mission from Afghanistan, a spokesman for the group told Al Jazeera. The US says the Taliban has agreed to ensure that civilians trying to leave Afghanistan get to Kabul’s airport safely, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has said.
