President Vladimir Putin says he is willing to allow shipments of Ukrainian grain. But he says he will only do it if restrictions on Russian grain are removed. From a country that suffered one of the worst famine in history, Ukraine has become one of the major grain exporters in the world. Last year, it produced about 100 million tonnes of grain, and exported 75 percent of it. With tensions between Ukraine and Russia, there are fears that the cost of these exports may rise, or that they may not make it out of Ukraine at all.
