Renewed conflict in Ukraine could trigger a food supply crisis

From a country that suffered one of the worst famine in history, Ukraine has become one of the major grain exporters in the world.
Last year, it produced about 100 million tonnes of grain, and exported 75 percent of it.
With tensions between Ukraine and Russia, there are fears that the cost of these exports may rise, or that they may not make it out of Ukraine at all.
Any disruption would have a major impact on the global distribution and supply, already battered by the COVID pandemic.

Al Jazeera’s Hoda Abdel-Hamid reports from Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine.
