So here it is. The five books that changed my life. The most difficult part about creating this video was narrowing down my favorite books to five.
I would estimate that over the past 10 years, I have likely read 250-300 books. Now, of course, everyone has different goals and time constraints, but I wanted to show you some of my all-time favorite books.

Comment one book that changed your life! Always looking for new books to read
@Nazem Abdelfattah yep this one changed my life too. I think Nate will like this one as it basically confirms what he has been practicing and preaching on his channel on how to spend money.
4 hour work week
Trinder3467 loved that book it’s so short too! Great quick read!
Book, or actually sixty six books, that changed my life was the Bible – I am a believer. I don’t know if you have read it or not, but if you have not, I would recommend the good old King James Version or if the English in KJV feels too old try ESV (English Standard Version).
Looking for books 9nl8ne and in library and in mail
Secrets of the millionaire mind
There is ONLY 1 Book >>>The Little Red Book<<<
I read “How to win friends and influence people” and I definitely recommend it. The title of the book is a bit weird but the insights in it are very valuable. I loved the book and rate it 5 stars.
The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir
Eichmann in Jerusalem by Hannah Arendt
You really look like a chinese actor I love from the drama GO GO SQUAD
🤔🤔🤔I don’t know why may be it’s just my eyes never mind😁😁😁
I do agree with you with the Dale Carnegie’s book. I am an extrovert but I find his book explained more about the philosophy of how we communicate = connected to other people as we really care about them. I love that book and surely it is my number 2 favorite book (after bible). I love how you share insights with people, Nate. I reshared this video within my circle. We need to upgrade ourselves, even though the result is not there yet, but we are on our way to reach into that place. Keep up the good work!
Jon Acuff has written some great books that have been helpful to me: “Do Over”, “Quitter”, and “Start” are some great books of his.
“Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill
Thankyou bro
I, too, am an introvert. Some of the best speakers and many great comedians are introverts.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg are the books that really shaped how I live my life right now.
I’ll attempt to read all of those interesting books
One book that changed my live is “The map of lost memories”, from Kim Fay. It’s a novel about someone who travels to Cambodia to search for lost information about the aboriginals. It is so well written that I could feel the sun burning, walking in the heat looking for the lost temple.
This book made me love travelling more and made me decide to travel to Cambodia in 2016 ❤
Read the Book of Revelation. It’s for now, and there is the promise of a blessing for those who read it.
I loved Ric Edelman The Truth about money.
Anyone read The Secret by Rhonda Byrne?
Why is success always related to cheaters, and narcs like Steve jobs, bill gates…
Money is not a measure of success….
For humans becoming a better human should be the only goal…
Read the “Man search of meaning” by frankl” you learn about life and psyocolgy
When I was in my twenties, searching for meaning, I started reading “the interior castle” by St. Terese de Jesus, and it changed my life. I am still reading it today at times, trying to understand it. Its very profound and led me on a life’s journey that continues today. Highly recommend to anyone trying to understand who they are. What they are.
Ooh I keep meaning to read Quiet
I always wanted to read but I felt there was no point bc I can’t remember anything that I read
Yes, but have you read the book of books?
1-How to make friends and influence people changed my life. Dale Carnegie 2- The power of self confidence by Brian Tracy 3- the simple path to wealth by JL Collins. 4- Rich dad poor dad taught me about assets and liabilities 5- Being mortal from Atul Gawande.
I actually did read rich dad poor dad with my class in my highschool math class lol. My teacher wanted us to learn more than just math.
How exactly the books changed your life?
Lol. Dude is 12.
I recommend ‘Atomic Habits’ by James Clear. It’s really helped me to understand better how habits work and to easily replace all my bad habits with good ones
Thats also my favourite book
You selected 5 business books. OK. You are young and believe that money is everything. Money does buy stuff, does buy connections, and does buy power. But it does not buy real respect. Money does not buy real love. Money does not buy trust. Please read and study at least a few books on being human, on saving our planet with all that money, on helping one child in one housing project go to college to become a doctor or researcher who cures cancer. We remember Carnegie for his libraries, not for his dollars. We respect Gates more for what he is doing with his dollars, not for how many dollars he has. I wish you success.
Purpose Driven Life 💖💛☺️😇
The Book of Psalms , Proverbs …
Rich dad poor dad changed my life forever. I am only thankful
The Bogleheads Guide to investing is another great one!
Nate, I’ve read the books that you mentioned and I like them too. I like reading this kind of books a lot. But I’m still in love with fiction books, to be precise with fantasy series. Have you read mistborn first era or the wheel of time? I highly recommend them, I can’t get over how good these fantasy series are.
1/ No BS Timemanagment and
2/ No BS Sales success
Both are Dan Kennedy
3/ The magic of tidying by Mary Kondo <---- I can separate my life before this book and after, it's truly magic 4/ The radical Forgiveness by Colin Tipping <---- totally changed my way to see my life !! It's a blessing
great books, thank you!!
I needed only one word, to changemy life.!
The Bible changed my life.
❤❤❤
Loved this video, definitely giving ‚rich dad, poor dad‘ a chance! Some of my favourites are ‚Atomic Habits‘ by James Clear, ‚Why we sleep‘ by Matthew Walker and ‚Limitless‘ by Jim Kwik. 🙂
You are so young and so intelligent. Your kids will be lucky and proud of you 😇
“Radical Acceptance” by Tara Brach – the idea of optimizing your life, making yourself more succesful is great. But what if you are scared of getting succes, scared of not being good enough for making a difference in the world? This book really helped turn my life around when it came to isseus related to the imposter-syndrome and self-acceptance. Without it, I would not have gotten to where i am today.
1. How to win friends and influence people
2. Getting to yes
3. Influence the psychology of persuasion
4. Rich dad, poor dad
5. Quiet, the power of introverts
6. Awaken giant within
7. The 4 hour work week
Omg! He’s Hot!!
“The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” Stephen R. Covey. “
Title: Treasures on the highway
I used to read sci-fi and ghost stories as I’ve always been fascinated by the supernatural, but I started to question every thing in my life I began moving more towards the spiritual aspects to gain answers I started training as a reiki healer, to heal my past and to gain the answers that I sought I started reading books about self development and personal growth, I read an incredible book, which opened my eyes to more understanding of relationships and the dynamics of communication and why people do what they do the book is called The Heart of The SouL, Emotional Awareness by Author Gary Zukav, it’s a life changing book full of insights, it’s one in a series of three books he has written, and this book has made the most impact on me and is an incredible tool which I’ve applied to my life and I reread it every so often, it’s like a guide to healing, your soul and disagreements and finding inner peace, next I recommend, a book called Feel the fear and do it anyway, by Susan Jeffers how to turn your fear and indecision into confidence and action, a greatly inspiring book there are some coaching exercises inside the book, it’s a good read you feel its achievable. The next book I recommend in Daring Greatly by Brene Brown how the courage to be Vunerable Transforms the way we live, Love, Parent and Lead this is an amazing book it made me cry in places, I watched her on YouTube before I got her book and listened to her Tedtalk, the next book is called Awakening the buddha within, Tibetan Wisdom for the Western World, 8 steps to enlightenment by Lama Surya Das. Lastly a book called Do It Or Ditch It By Bev James she’s on YouTube you can look her up she is a business coach and motivational speaker her book is about how to turn ideas into action and make decisions that count this book is very cheap its available on Ebay and Amazon 8 steps to Business Success from The Millionaires Mentor, I liked this video I gave it a thumbs up and subscribed, I always like to hear about what books have changed people’s lives. Watch Tia Lopez as he reviews great book on YouTube this is how you can find your next great read. Laura in uk
@Laura Aqui,
Greetings from a ‘sister’ Reiki Master in Southern California, USA. Haven’t read any you’ve mentioned but a couple are on my list.
As a holistic health practitioner and massage therapist by trade, I tend to gravitate more toward health, wellness (body, mind, and Spirit), and spiritual subjects__though, technically, I run the gamut from nutrition and bodywork, to metaphysics and Eastern philosophy, to science and the unknown, to plants and permaculture, and more recently, my Oracle cards, shamanism and ritual, knitting and the fiber arts. I like to be well rounded! 😳
In 1993 I visited Montevideo, Uruguay with relatives and the moment I stepped foot on ground at the airport I had an overwhelming sensation that I was ‘home’. After coming home, to New Jersey, I found myself helping care for my father who had developed a brain tumor. Those two things seemed to be the springboard to my holistic health and spiritual journey.
During that time I met a young man who guided me through a past life regression where I realized I am a Keeper of the Flame.
Same timeframe a friend lent me, “Mutant Message Down Under” by Marlo Morgan, which brought even more insight to my ancient wisdom__a short read, however, very profound (at least, for me at the time). Several spiritual experiences were encountered during this period, some attacks, some connections, some prophetic, some psychic, some epiphanies. I kept a journal to log them__WILD RIDE!
Anyway, fast forward to more recent times. Louise Hay “You Can Heal Your Life”, Lynne McTaggert “The Intention Experiment” (“The Field” is on my list), Masaru Emoto “The Hidden Messages in Water”, Amit Goswami “The Quantum Doctor”, Dr. Joe Dispenza “Evolve Your Brain” + “Becoming Supernatural” (hubby’s reading that one). Other authors I have in my ‘library’, not read yet but am very involved in what they’re all about: Dr. Bruce Lipton, Gregg Braden, Dean Radin.
It may not seem so, but all the information in these books, even most of these authors (and others), atop of my experiences, are totally connected! They’re as pieces to the puzzle of who/what we are, what the ‘deal’ is with the Universe we live in (and beyond), what the heck we’re doing on this planet, what we’re SUPPOSED TO BE doing on this planet, and more! Puts a LOT of things into perspective!
Even to what we are ALL experiencing right now with this pandemic__which brings me to ask something very important of you, Laura.
I’m hoping you do self-Reiki regularly, and I invite you to connect with [us], “the collective”, in ‘running’ Reiki over Mother Earth and all Earthlings “…with infinite possibilities for the highest good of ALL”, adding this to your regular practices/ceremonies, etc.(?).
This is VERY important work/healing that demands [our] attention at this time, moving Energy forward__especially, from ‘the Feminine’ aspect!
As we move into the “Age of Aquarius” it’s vital that we heal as much of the chaos around us, fully and completely, that we may all come to some sort of peace, finally realizing we truly are just parts of a whole__that whatever happens to one, all are affected.
Whether you think me a loon or not, thank you for reading this far__and I hope you decide this is a ‘project’ worth your attention__and anyone else who may be reading this and want to join the party! I love and appreciate you all.
Love, Light, and Many Healing Blessings upon you and yours.

So handsome.
Love your video <3 from Vietnam
O MILAGRE DA MANHA. esse livro é muito bom.
Oh no Nate! I was hoping that the 5 books would be classic literature…like the Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky!
Even THESE books can change your mind? Mass product shit. You read the book and think: “What was that? damn! good! I have to let it through. I have to read it once more. I need time to understand it.” And the years after you still think about the book and remember it.
Some good books you may know:
Michail Bulgakov – Master & Margarita
Hermann Hesse – Siddhartha
Sartre – Nausea
Leo Tolstoy – Any book you find in english
Some perfect books you never read:
Leonid Andreev – Any book you find in english
Fedor Sologub – “Творимая легенда” (not sure if it was translated)
I mean… how could you select mass media pop harmful awful books among many others?
