A communist nation is better at capitalism than most capitalist…
W.A M.P. The last sentence in your last comment made me laugh, it brought out the cynic in me.
terry hollands hahah thanks and good morning.
Well Chinese practiced capitalism for thousands of years
Kevin S Off and on I’m sure. There has been many different ruling classes and changes.
Believe it or not, most these products are produce by robots in China because wages has gone up. The only child labor I can think of is maybe Bangladesh, Vietnam, and other South Asian countries.

Chinese are used to rapid growth and cannot believe the west is so slow, while westerners are used to slow growth and cannot believe China is so fast
Such rapid growth! 1,000,000,000 people who earn less than $10/day. Incredible! No.71 per capita GDP in the world! Amazing! Green with envy Westerners must be, earning as they do only ten times as much as the Chinese. Tutting their heads in wonder at The Great Chinese Miracle, while watching the heels of the shoes of Bill Gates and Rupert Murdoch walk out the door they dare not venture near. A forbidden palace to them, a golden land of opportunity to others. As for those safety nets in the iPhone factories, who needs those when you’ve got on-line showping?!
Nice to see serious comment here. Talking about “rapid growth”. the industrialization took 300 years in the west whereas only 60 years in China. Now, China’s industrial production is larger than US, Japan, and Germany combined. In the past 30 years, China’s annual GDP growth averages 12%, which is attributed to “copying” capitalism from the west. However, China will not copy the western history of colonization, slavery, and war mongers. The rise the west cost the world too much. And China will not copy the outdated “democracy”, which is now “vetocracy” and dysfunctional. Moreover, with the largest human resourse of engineers and scientists, China has little to copy from US in technology. China already leads in supercomputer, quantum communication, artificial intelligence, bullet train, 3D printing, 5G network, mobile payment, ITFIN, etc.
The golden age of Roman Empire is much shorter than you suggested. Roman Empire rose in 27 BC and broke into two parts in 395. Byzantine was crushed by Turkey in 1071 then was on its last legs until 1453. In contrast, the imperial China lasted from 221 BC to 1911.
LOL…an immediate example of an “envy Westerner”, who is deplorably ignorant of basic stats…Must be reading outdated fake news. REALLY amazing.
K X China didn’t invent the bullet train they made a machine to build the rails quicker and made the Bullet train Cheap. They hold the Number 1 spot for super computers and working on quantum communications which is still out by 40 years but Americans Invented 3d printing and Mobile payments sooo half youre list is correct. CHINA didn’t created the computer we all use today, satellite, space travel, internet, YOUTUBE, Cell Phones, the factory line!! China gave us Gunpowder, Compass, paper and Print that’s pretty much it.
K X They got our good paying jobs. That is the reason they are having rapid growth and we have stagnated. Can’t buy anything if people in America don’t have the money.
Your children will work in their sweat shops.
Lol, u probably locked urself in the basement for 20 yrs alreay.
哈哈 血汗工厂
No, we will be cleaning the Chinese robots in Chinese factories…
Slowing economy? LMAO
WTF
They got them programmed and controlled much like in the usa, but I guess, because it is online, people will not get into fights, get killed, and robbed like they do in usa on black friday.
哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈
My $100 usd from Canada
That’s weird angle to attack China
what is amazing is actually the delivery system, 1.4 billion parcels in 2/3 days, USPS laughs all the way home, those sweat shop mailmen in china can never get a life
Anonymous Anonimity at least they have a job lol not like most trailer trash
China has advanced transportation sys. And many deliver companies. So it is very fast.
greenpeace, are you serious?
looking back we should gather all those “economy experts” that doubted China’s transition to a consumer domestic demand driven economy, and make them do an apology video.
650 million orders; 1300 million people: 0.5 orders/per person; and given that most who buy buy more than once, what does this point to? Say, 100 million (7% of the population) buying 6.5 packages each? Quelle Privilege! Ca Aristocrace! More news from Nowhere!
that’s true, lot of people buy 5-6 things
Are you dumb? People from outside China can buy during Single’s Day too.
“Slowing economy” “green peace” How pathetic is Qatari? I thought your Saudi neighbor is priority instead of China. 🤣🤣🤣
Mao rolls in his grave…..and rolls….and rollls…..and rolls…..
One great point. China needs to pay attention to pollution this time. Over-packaging causes a lot of trouble, we need a solution for next year’s Singles’ Day.
China works, but it comes with price that majority ignore. We shouldn’t restrict the selling, but encouraging more cheaper ways to use good materials to package.
China doing very good, selling off Bitcoin and letting it burst is a wise decision. Bitcoin gold is the real deal!
westerner just can colonize
Green peace ??? Master of troll
