Tens of thousands of people rallied again in Myanmar’s biggest city Yangon on Sunday denouncing a military coup and demanding the release of elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
Protesters marching in Yangon for a second consecutive day on Sunday carried red balloons – the colour of Aung San Suu Kyi’s National League for Democracy (NLD) – and chanted, “We don’t want military dictatorship! We want democracy!”
They walked in the bright sunshine down the middle of the road, waving NLD flags and making the three-figure salute that has become a symbol of protest against the February 1 coup. Drivers honked their horns and passengers held up photos of Aung San Suu Kyi.
“We will move forward and keep demanding until we get democracy. Down with the military dictatorship,” protester Myo Win, 37, told the AFP news agency.

The thing is NLD won ALL citizen’s votes.
By law, before this country turned into a Democracy system, the Military put the law that 25% of the parliament is them by default. And Aung San Su Kyi made a statement that that law is not okay, so she said she would fight and urge NLD to remove that law if they ever win.
The last time when all the shootings and fights in the borders happen, NLD couldn’t do anything because the majority of the parliament has the Military still, and people couldn’t do anything but watch because if we fight they could arrest any of us or even get rid of us still. That’s why she said what she said.
And during this election ALL 75% is NLD. That’s why they took this action. Because if they don’t, they will lose all power.
Right now, it’s more of standing against dictatorship rather than supporting a political party.

Its because unlike what the military and the media wanted to paint, the crisis as ethnic clashes, it was apparent that the killigs are solely responsible by the military men. Their goal was to use civil unrest between 135 ethnic races to divide and conquer and have other ethnic armed forces lose faith in democracy.

No sweeping policies implemented sure the military have veto power but policies could have been implemented to cripple the military. Recruiting young professionals or professional governance from foreign countries might speed things up. At this rate Myanmar would cease to be a country probably get taken over by Thailand would be a better idea honestly.

To make it clear, China is not standing with the military. You need to be aware that the instability is the worst thing to Chinese. So Anglos can step in and send in their agencies and military sources. Then, what happens? The history in 1950-1980s repeat. Turmoil will plague all countries in this region. No country including China, Vietnam, Thailand, etc. will not be able to develop. There will no any impact on those Anglo countries. They can sell arms to all sides. At the end, anglos regain dominance over this region. All countries there are either ruined over recolonized.
