@siogbeagbideach I just looked it up, Although the Plantation of Ulster was biggest, England also organised & carried out Plantations throughout other parts of Ireland at various times/durations in that time era. So there are probably Orange Institution Lodges in all those areas in ROI. too. No Parades commission has been needed there. Only NI has a Parades Commission, no other part of UK has one.
@Charlie Munster a lot of big houses were burnt during the war of Independence, mostly landlords that showed cruelty to the people ( evictions etc) beautiful buildings gone but hey, that’s war I guess. there are still some that exist, generally those owners were seen as sympathetic to the community. When the border was drawn up, the counties selected ensured that a majority were unionist, true too that some folk fled the south to the north. Church rule unfortunately followed in the Republic, a pity as it was oppression of a different order. If that border had not existed, we would likely have had a very different outlook in both regions of the island, it only served to cement division and make both parts of the country much poorer in my opinion. I am aware of a march that takes place in Donegal ( Ulster county in the Republic) and none of the sh*te that goes along with the marches in the North happens. Problem with the North was that they marched in areas they are not welcomed in, thus ensuring conflict and stress for all.

The parents are in receipt of long term social welfare payments as their sole source of income. If you fine them they will get money from charity or community welfare officer or the younger children in the family will suffer. You can bet the 14 yr old males in a family will not do without food to pay any fine imposed on the family. The rioters are too young to face trial and punishment as an adult so that very little consequences happen if they are arrested and charged. A similar situation occurs elsewhere in the world where minor children are used as couriers and drug delivery persons by gangs so that the adult agents can avoid being caught with the goods and avoid arrest and charges because of this.
In the past ordinary people were forced at gunpoint to drive car bombs into target army and police stations. This is a similar situation, using minors as a form of proxy so that the main players can avoid prosecution.

@Cody Vector McGregor is from the Republic of Ireland which is a different country. In the video it is about Northern Ireland which is on the same island as Ireland but its part of the UK. The issue is that UK voted to leave EU but Northern Ireland is a special province of the UK that has a signed peace treaty called “The good Friday agreement”, with the Republic of Ireland in which it is written that there shall not be a border between them two. Its a bit complicated issue, if you’re interested google a bit about it.

The two opposing welfare class communities hate each other, attend different schools, have different religious and cultural values at a very fundamental and opposing level. They hate each other. Leaders rise in each community who foment and foster hatred of the other community. To contradict them is to court disaster. As the last commentator said it is a form of child abuse at community level. The parents have little or no practical power over their children at this age.

I’m having a hard time understanding these protests. What do the protesters want? Do different protesters want different things?
I don’t think the United Kingdom is needed anymore, the European Union has replaced it. Northern Ireland should just unite with Ireland, and be a unified country again. Also Scotland should leave, and join the EU as a separate country. It really seems like it was just England that wanted Brexit, so they should be able to enjoy that status on their own. No clue about what Wales should do.
