Hopes of rescuing 53 sailors on board the vessel faded on Saturday as its oxygen reserves were believed to have run out.

I got information, this submarine is a 40yrs old refurbished by a korean company few years back. I was wondering if the company that did the refurbish jobs have any experience in submarine construction, and do they provide warranty??

If stuff from inside was found, obviously it imploded and will find no survivors. I doubt they will find any bodies…. implosions are very violent

Sounds fishy to me all subs are equipped with sonar beacons that can be located on the bottom of the ocean theres no reason it should ” vanish” sinking and vanished are two different scenarios. The objects they say they found could have been provided from them because the know technically today the oxygen expires preemptive explanations eases pressure they feel for having no answers

Extremely strage, that 53 people, instead of the normal crew (33 persons) had been on board ! !
Argentina submarine San Juan S42 built by Germany in 1984 sank in 2017 after 33 years in service. Indonesian S402 is also built by Germany in 1980 used for 40 years should have been out of service. Indonesian navy was pushing its luck and risked good people just to save money. Looks like Indonesia has a problem with defense minister trying to save money by shopping for used submarines. Japan replace their submarines every 20 years and Western navy replace their submarines every 30 years. Every submarine accidents has same problems using it over 30 years pushing it to limit risk lives. Submarines should be replaced more frequently than surface ship due to dangers being submerged.
we felt terrified for the 53 crews of the submarine and leaders are not thinking twice about initiating war??? future casualties are fellow human beings who have their own families that are waiting for their return to their own respective houses… Please stop the war there will be no winners to it, what we will just gain are Sorrows, heartache, and get our soldier’s hands very much dirty for the sake of the selfish leaders. remember every 1 person that will die during the war will bring deep sorrow for his/her loved ones who will seek revenge or vengeance and start a never-ending war that is very hard to end.

ITS THERE FAULT THEY DIDNT HAVE NO KIND OF EMERGENCY RESCUE IN PLACE THEY HAD DAYS TO RESCUE THEM IF THE HAD SOME TYPE OF RESCUE TEAM AND EQUIPMENT OR BOATS IN PLACE THEY WOULD OF HAD A BETTER CHANCE TO BE SAVED DOING AN EXERCISE LIKE THAT WITH AN OLD SUBMARINE SHOULD HAD BEEN STRAPPED TO A CRANE ON 2 BOATS THE FRONT AND THE BACK OF THE SUBMARINE THEN LOWERED INTO THE WATER DEPTHS IF THEY COULDN’T GET BACK UP TO SURFACE THE CRANES COULD HAVE PULLED THEM BACK UP THAT WASN’T INTELLIGENT BY THE PERSON WHO TOLD THEM THEY COULD GO DEEPER IN THE WATER GOD BLESS THEM
Many countries claim to have submarines. Only a handful can actually build and maintain them as they are comparable to the space shuttle in complexity. The vast majority are just buying these 40 year old boats that Germany no longer wants.

*Indonesian Navy changed status of Submarine K.R.I. NANGGALA 402 being “ETERNAL PATROL” because no crew was found and the submarine could not be lifted above sea level. Btw the submarine’s motto itself is “be steadfast to the end”. RIP to all crews*
