They should ask the Vietnamese for advice. The Vietnamese had gone through almost half a century ago so the older generation Vietnamese will be able to advice the Taliban on the road forward. Things can and will get harder as days passed. Just pray that the Taliban organize themselves as quickly as possible so that donor countries will have some government officials to liaise with regards to donating basic necessities.
As for the US, on one hand they need the Taliban’s help in the evacuation and on the the other hand they are freezing Taliban’s assets in the States. What do they expect the Taliban to do? Retaliate by holding the Americans as hostage? The actions of the US is despicable and belligerent.

To be fair they fought for 20 years to liberate their country from foreign occupation. Now they have clearly demonstrated they are in power and are honouring a Amnesty to all. They are showing a new softer type of interpreted Islamic law to govern the country. Some are calling them Taliban 2.0 updated version from the original 1999’s version. Which seems plausible enough. As the world has plenty of islamic states and countries. They do have right of choice to do it their own way. My worry is the US will never really forgive them truly and behind the scenes it will conspire to destabilise the Talib government through canceling aid, economical deprivation, blockades, sanctions and a few bombing sorties may be. I hope I’m absolutely wrong ! I genuinely wish the Afghan people a peaceful future. Love and peace to all who have read upto here.

As an arab muslim I was at the beginning a little bit suspicious of Taliban and I thought they were using Islam to gain more power in the ground like many other groups but as they have won battle after battle I started to believe that they truly understand Islam and its true meaning they understand that Islam is a religion of strength and justice and there is no true Muslim would accept occupation and to live under the rule of others even if he dies, the overwhelming bias from the west and the corrupt regimes shows the extent of their fear from any possible strong islamic country, it would be foulish to think that they care about the situation of the citizens or women as they are the same people who support the dictatorships in the middle east that oppress the rights of both men and women. They are the same people who committed atrocities in Iraq, Afghanistan and any other country that has fallen to them whether a muslim or non muslim, in the modern era or in the days of wicked imperialism that enslaved whole countries and they still do. It’s really absurd how these countries pretend to care about women when their history is full of violation against women, you just need to read some of it and you would be disgusted to the core, for example search for the french occupation of Algeria. Of course I don’t agree with Taliban in every matter for example I don’t agree with them on the support of terrorists like Osama bin Laden. I hope that they will be able to rule their country under an islamic law and achieve prosperity to their own people and to prove the world to be wrong about them. And one day I hope the islamic world will realise that everything in this world is gained only by power and justice not by abandoning our values and to know our real enemies.
