And for the first time since the group’s takeover, ministry offices have reopened. There is a sense of normality resuming in Kabul, with more people in the streets. Banks remain shut in Afghanistan and people are facing difficulties due to soaring prices and the suspension of banking services. Government and private employees are facing financial issues, as they have no clue about their salaries.
