Hoping for the best for Lebanon! I think the Lebanese people should form socio-civic organizations that lobby and/or work together for the common good if the government is dysfunctional. Maybe have a transport group that pushes for cycling and shared transport instead of relying on cars would be a start. Just some thoughts from a guy in a developing country.

Been to Beirut a couple of times as a tourist. It was modern and trendy, but one thing didn’t feel right to me. So many ppl there breathe racism. Too often I got asked the unnecessary question, ‘What’s your religion?’ And sometimes I felt hated cuz I’m not Christian. Dear Lebanese brothers n sisters, stop blaming your gov. Look inside your hearts, and cast away this sectarian hate.
