#Farms #Underground #Future
First Underground Farm To Launch in 2022 Could Be Industry Game-Changer
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Receive Jesus Christ my brother and my sister today and you will be saved. Read the Bible every day and find a local church so that you might be established in faith and one day you will go to heaven when your assignment will end on earth
Do you have ANY personal thoughts, or do you QUOTE everything you say all day long???
@TheJimprez please I just want people to give their lives to Jesus.
I was saved and I also want you be saved and be born again
Why don’t you just Farm like normal and do crop rotation. There’s nothing wrong with the Earth or the sunlight.
Farm- it’s works for centuries
Wow, you can’t be that senile
This protects from insects, natural disasters and any thing else. Plus this keeps the heat trapped
And we have had this human-made weather change that is getting worst by the minute for long enough by now.. That you SHOULD understand how LOST you sound…
The man is a FARMER, he does it for a living. Don’t you think he might know a BIT more about what is happening than you???
@TheJimprez He has no clue considering he is dreaming and watching CGI of something that existed the century before this one. Just like when children have no clue they scream and stomp their feet or? Their all caps keys. Means they have no idea of what is going on. Yes I understand how lost you are very well. Anyone with a 3 digit IQ does.
The ones running the world are dimming the sun and destroying mother earth all the while pushing the phony climate change narrative so the ignorant masses will believe this is our only way to ensure survival. Just venture out to the nearest wilderness and you will see the trees are abnormally dying off. As LBJ once said, he who controls the weather controls the world.
Yes!
The matrix meets the terminator.. mixed in with some mad max.. is what this is about.
🤔
Makes sense since living underground and nature being an occasional treat is the future the WEF and Bill Gates wants. Cuz let’s be honest, umm we’re losing all our human rights cuz they’re now deemed privileges by Klaus Blowschwab and that’s who runs the government and the media. Just tell me the highlights of the FEMA camps ur gonna build for all those who don’t go along with the programming as dictated by Bezos and his merry batch of UN officials!
That is how we have coped with winter shortages for years. Our tomatoes and other fresh fruits and veggies come more and more from in-house growing. Mostly because electricity is SO CHEAP here in Quebec. A couple of companies have taken over old cave systems to grow mushrooms and just about every tomato I buy in the winter was grown about 100Km away from my home, in an insulated, heated, and lit indoor farm. ALL of your weed will be grown on rotating growth bed towers soon, too. THAT is going to push the studies on indoor-grown of produce as NOTHING ELSE could.
It might not be UNDERGROUND, but that is just because we can make do with operating costs on top, with unlimited hydropower. at ridiculous commercial prices.
“All weed” is grown how u say😂😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡 ok Boomer! Not a single commercial operation grows that way…
IN HOUSE NOT UNDERGROUND
If people are willing to pay millions of dollars to fly in space on a private space venture company, there will be a market for the high cost underground or vertical grown food; for the rest of us, we can only watch it on the internet and eat outdoor dirt grown food.
One big advantage vertical/underground farming has over traditional farming is that it’s weather agnostic, so you can grow whatever no matter the weather outside or the season. Right now, we’re vulnerable and at the mercy of mother nature, if there’s a drought that impacts farms and farm output (there’s strong speculation that one of the immediate causes of Syrian Civil War was a major drought in 2010-2011) or if there’s flooding or blizzard or exceptionally cold weather or whatever this sort of farming doesn’t care about that at all and that’s why it’s the next step in farming by making our food supply independent of weather outside.
@Nicholas Linefeld The technology can’t be expanded to feed the world’s population; it will be for the rich. Surface farming is being affected by Global Warming and limited energy to grow crops for the masses. The limited energy and available lands will be used to feed the rich, while the raising seas levels and increase in Earth’s temperature will create droughts that will create two classes of people in the world, the rich and the hungry.
This is the kind of world we’ve made for ourselves and our children, better have no enemies when the light goes out, due to the economic crisis and the rate of unemployment I think it’s the best time to invest for the future
Finally something productive
It is US media. They think this is ‘new’ even though it’s been around for decades, lol.
They already have this in London. Nothing new here.
No pests or pesticides !
Let’s go Rodgers, no one matters.
*After what has unfolded in 2020 I no longer view btc as speculation. more so an inevitability. Even if it takes 10 years to get $100k that would mean the average rate of return with a daily $100. Over a year is 100% what asset class out there today offer that type of opportunity?*
.To be honest I invested as low as $5,000 because I was skeptical initially. Receiving my profit gave me more confidence to reinvest higher.
All you need to make money on Bitcoin is the assistance of a good crypto currency analyst
My first investment with Mr George Edward gave me the assurance that has made me invest without the fear of losing, I got four of my friends involved with him already
I’m from the Australia🇦🇺 I and my colleagues gave him a try and it has been good returns of our investment, Thanks George Edward
A video about farming
Bots: let’s mention BTC
and these holes will be death traps for animals
But where will the electricity come from? That’s the problem, it’s got to come from hydroelectric, fossil fuels, or wind
Solar energy
This problem will be solved by people with such a high IQ? They can end sentences.
You guys are something else. Crazy!!
This is still too expensive to transition from traditional farming.
These are the challenges near future generations will face, thanks to kicking the climate-change-can down the road for 40+ years. Sustainability! Where will we grow? What will we grow?
@Michel Platteeuw we knew it 40 years ago, but continued to do nothing. We’re still subsidizing coal for crying out loud. They should have started transitioning years ago, creating new jobs all the while, but Maserati Manchin believes in money, not the future, just money.
@HunterBidensCrackPipe really? What’s your manageable solution for Miami and it’s king tides? How do you plan to stop the Greenland glaciers from melting?
@SuzyMoon You don’t think we can’t move away from flood probe areas or build sea walls like the Dutch have done for centuries? You don’t think we can’t adopt water conservation techniques and desalinate seawater and pipe it to where it’s needed? The main problem is that climate doomsayers have been given the louder bull horn for too long.
@HunterBidensCrackPipe Sea walls? These Dutch sound puny and weak at best. You think this and that all you like? My kids know how to use ancient adobe earth and build a Terp which goes back over a eon. No need for fancy century old modern stuff. Whatever this Dutchland is it must be even weaker then the weak to very weak US Navy. I remember their screams like schoolgirls over the coms during Katrina flying my mighty flag. Run run! The wind is … picking up? I mean come on they abondoned the People because they were too busy thinking. Not me and my crew. We just ignored the death threats about US territorial waters. Not like you can hit anything while running. Nah we raised our flag higher and sailed through a CAT5 hurrican at full strenght. When their own goverment forsakes the People left clinging to their roofs? All they could do was pray. Which results our helo’s parting the very heavens above during a active storm surge puny US aircraft cannot handle. Yes Children of Nehalennia are backed up by devine powers beside knowledge. And a great proud moment standing in front of U.S President Bush ready with our metal pins called medal. Imagine that loser flying over and doing nothing? He had to pin those medals on 150+ chests after we all collectively gave him the finger. Then we build some kinda wall I think. New Orleans Sea barrier? Dunno but last hurricane that hit was even more powerfull and the U.S goverment went ranting about how no part of it had failed. Course not. We knew that when we designed it. Why else build stuff??
@HunterBidensCrackPipe a problem with sea walls … if the water breaches them, chances are it won’t be able to get back out. All of the things you are talking about should have been in place already. This is all too little too late.
Doubt it
UNDERGROUND FARMING 2021: LETTUCE…
UNDERGROUND FARMING 2001 : ‘DEVILS’ LETTUCE ..
So the preparation for global climate disasters, and wars, begin.
The production per sq feet it’s the key to drive the business forward.
US uses 80+ liter per square feet. We use 8 … makes business alot cheaper. You can drive it forward if you like. We already grow stuff in space.
They would have to use solar power for the lighting costs…and have a closed system for water use……
Sure. They spent millions. Been farming for generations, but forget these key steps lol
What a great time to stop genetically modifying our all of our food….There’d probably be less cancer 🤷🏼♀️
I’ve been growing herbs in my basement for yrs!! This ain’t nothin new baby!!
More GMO FOOD
The most deadly war in the world is now happening in Ethiopia 🇪🇹.Last week, in one day alone over 2000 individuals were killed in Dessie,a town 400kms west of the Capital Addis Ababa.
The war is between the Ethiopian peoples and the US sponsored terrorist groups(TPLF and OLF).
Ethiopians from all corners are marching to the war front.
Tens of thousands of peoples have been killed and millions are displaced and living in the jungle .
US and Western medias are supporting the terrorist groups by providing the necessary war equipments and through propaganda!
US and the terrorist groups are fighting with the 120 million Ethiopians.
Ethiopians 🇪🇹 will never give in!
Westerns need the imperialist rule in Africa .
For Africans ,Now is the time to be free forever or to be western colonials forever !
Let’s go Brandon!
No we don’t need to do this climate change isn’t real stop the nonsense
I would rather indoor farming
This system should work in Mars.
As long as it’s edible and healthy.
Underground with the rats like in nyc
https://youtu.be/wRwPgNTXRLM
They’re growing food down a WELL. God that’s smart. Imagine vast warehouses on Mars with those deep wells in the floor and shelf after shelf of greens.
Imagine planting lettuce, spinach and mushrooms in your window. I personally don’t see how the well concept is useful when you can grow everything they intend on growing in those ridiculously expensive wells in a window inside your apartment for nothing but the cost of potting mix and seeds. Teach people not to be stupid, instead of creating stupid solutions to real problems. Start requiring apartments and homes to be built with greenrooms/greenwindows and probably most people will use them if you teach them how.
@Lorita Alanzo Agree with you, but you can have your own mini vertical hydroponic system instead of using soil, and save in water costs.
Now they can spray food with chemicals and microdots to trace your whereabouts without anyone knowing about it .
Sounds great to cut energy cost it’s innovative things like this billionaires should be I vesting and things to try and solve these things. Not rockets to space if we can’t save our own planet what makes you think we should just go destroy another one and under ground framing sounds cool as long as it’s not with a certain human additive if you catch my drift. They better not be spraying chemicals all over the either just have to grow my own trust anyone these days
It’s crazy to think of the amount of wasted food, just to turn around and say we don’t have space to grow more?
Funny how they don’t mention the lighting and the *MASSIVE* cost associated with it. This is absolutely ridiculous, we still have plenty of space in the US. You can easily buy farm land in many places for less than $3,000 per acre.
Are you talking about grazing land or tillable land? Ground is well over 10 here. Besides that, the lighting cost is not that big of a deal. Obviously it has to be worked into your business plan but I’ve run the numbers and it’s still incredibly profitable to grow indoors. Depending on your crop.
@Viatori The lighting and construction costs are a HUGE deal! If you are not growing marijuana it is not possible to make a profit using electrical sunlight. NOT POSSIBLE. I own 6 acres IN A CITY that is worth about 18 grand and is very fertile forest land. It could easily be a small farm, with fantastic soil and plenty of water and a long growing season. $3,000 per acre in the city! It’s not in a great part of the city, and there is crime, but plants don’t care. Yeah there are places that cost more but they shouldn’t be farming!
I just watched a 21 acre farm with nice fertile land sell for $2,400 per acre! All this in NC, where the growing season is long, very little irrigation is required, and land is cheap. Not a penny spent on infrastructure or running lights! These are not isolated land prices, I could show you many, either sold or still available now.
If you want grazing land it’s even cheaper than that, most of that is leased BLM land, they don’t actually own it. And the lease prices are incredibly low per acre.
We are nowhere even close to running out of farmland in the US, no need to be growing in friggin holes in the ground for a very, very, very long time. There is far more empty land than used land.
@Ryan Roberts I run a conventional row crop farm in illinois. It doesn’t make sense for me to buy land all over the place. Besides that, most growers aren’t going to grow a bunch of different things. 12 acres isn’t worth my time if it’s across the county. If I can fit more space under ground, it would be fantastic.
Led lights aren’t that bad and you can grow indoors. Specialty crops like microgreens and some mushrooms are grown indoors using lights and it works very very well.
I’d actually be very interested in having a conversation with you about your farm if you want to talk on discord or something sometime.
You’re missing the point. There is still plenty cheap farmable land available. Like MASSIVE amounts. The more you buy the cheaper it is per acre. There are a few very very specific specialty things that can be grown under lights but the market for that cannot be very large.
In the east there is a lot of ex-farmland that has gone back to nature or been planted as tree farms. The county I live in is mostly tree farms just because there is no other demand for the land. You can never compete with free sunlight vs artificial light, even with LEDs, except very rare circumstances or long in the future. It’s worse for the environment and would tax an already overloaded grid. I’m surrounded by thousands of acres of arable land going almost to waste growing a lot of crappy pine trees that grew mostly as weeds.
It’s worth noting I have managed some very large indoor (legal) marijuana farms in the past, and the cost for electricity and everything else that had to be provided vs growing outside is astronomical.
There are plenty of other reasons farming has become harder and less profitable, but not for lack of land.
@Ryan Roberts interesting. Still, want to have a conversation sometime?
Lol we get to the point when we can’t fix global warming only thing we can do is adapt to situations we are now that mean soon we gonna start building our houses also underground… we end up like finch👏👏👏👏
Kind of pointless. Lights are not using less energy and resources. Anyone can grow lettuce, spinach and mushrooms indoors using no lights; all you need is a window and potting mix. Being that’s what they claimed will be grown in those ridiculously expensive holes in the ground, using obviously thousands of watts of lighting.
Underground farming, oh yeah that’s gonna work.
I’ve been growing black mold in my bathroom for years. Tastes like truffles.
Fracking no….underground farming……
This has been happening in disused London subways for a few years now.
Frankenstein food without sunlight.
This ain’t new

yeah, but is it organic?
and what’s the nutritional value of food coming from 26 harvests a year?
I’m suspicious….
This will not be a game changer.
Human are so dumb, like honestly we have the SUN… environmentally friendly? How much plastic waste and LED lights will be used for the artificial lighting, and rare mineralized CPUs to control it all? And I hope the electricity isn’t coming from coal or atomic energy…..seems to me we could be much greener is they taught basic gardening skills in schools, and everyone grew their own lettuce, I already do….so can you.
With climate change this could become a necessity
heyyyy,….this is coool…this works similar to a hydroponic garden
I do want to see potatoes and corn
Here is the medical marijuana industrie’s contribution to growing at work.
They are making underground farms to feed the rich when climate change makes it impossible to grow anything. The rich will be living underground and eating good and the the rest of us will be eating each other to stay alive.
Stupid. Just allow and help people to grow their own food. Uh natural food. Duh. I wonder how nutrient density is affected by artificial environment underground? If we just change our culture and lifestyle we can all have free food and not have to create more “high technology” to help save us. We really don’t need saving we just need to wake up and realize we need to respect the planet and ourselves more.
Yeah but you get all of those subsidies from the government. Free tax payer money. Then complain when anyone else gets a penny.
