Protesters in Lebanon are back on the streets as the country grapples with economic collapse.
Many are angry with the government’s recovery plan, which they say is short of much-needed reforms.
And as the crisis continues, some demonstrators fear there may be no end in sight.

All the borders of current states of lebanon, syria, iraq, jordanbe and saudi arabia were created arbitrarily by western imperialists to divide the resources of middle east equally among them, which in return created heterogenous states with hostile groups.

A Bosnian officer in the Ottoman Empire took the opportunity to seize Egypt, and make himself the king. His family remained as kings in Egypt until Nasser’s 1952 coup.

Israel is a successful middle eastern state. No doubt you have a story about magic and secret plots to explain why Israel is successful. We are now reaping the long term effects of their hand in the area. I wish i could give you the specifics off my head. But things like, making the borders so the populations would always be at odds with each other instead of against the colonial power.
