Autobiography of a Yogi
Hey brother. Really inspired by this channel since it’s hard to find other ppl in my social group that are interested in your content like me.
Was just wondering if there’s a BOOK that lets you learn how to view current world events, and how one with an investing and economics mind can capitalize ?
Thank you in advance.
Great job. Well explained. More video pls.
Great Recommendations. Loved your recommendation on “How to talk to anyone…”
Great video!
I read Klara and the sun and found it amazing
The way of the superior man. By david deida. 10/10 book
Thank for a real book list. No fluff and stuff that looks terrifying to read. My kind of booklist.
My top books are “leadership and self deception”. And Annie Duke “thinking in bets”. This list makes my choices a little fluffy looking.
‘The Deficit Myth’ Stephanie Kelton.
Brilliant book
The definitive guide to MMT
“Sapiens” by Yuval Noah Harari
“The Laws of Human Nature” by Robert Greene
Valuation book author name pls
الحمد لله رب العالمين ولاحول ولاقوة إلا بالله العلي العظيم واللهم صل وسلم وبارك على سيدنا محمد وعلى اله واصحابه أجمعين
The subtle art of not giving a f*ck. Awesome book
If you haven’t already read “Can’t hurt me ” by David Goggins just do it
My fav book of 2021:
The $100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau 😌
Great video! I highly recommend Viktor Frankl to everyone 🙂
Early Retirement Extreme by Jacob Lund Fisker
This guy looks like avicci
Why didn’t you list the name of the books in the description or comments?
this video is exactly what i needed at a time of turmoil. Im looking forward to the how to talk book the most and hoping it helps with this stutter of mine. Nate my man thank you brother
Want to learn how science looked before the hyper-specialization we’re accustomed today? Ever wonder who inspired the likes of Darwin, Muir, and the founding fathers? “The Invention of Nature” by Andrea Wulf is the incredible biography of Alexander von Humboldt, a man lost to history but who is known the world round. Highly recommend.
łnvestment Helpline⬆️⬆️📩⤴️⤴️,.
Guns, Germs, and Steel should be required reading for every student in the US!
When you mentioned 1984 I geeked. One of my favorite books!! Love your videos 👍🏻
Btw would love to see a book club happen
Thanks for this superb recommendation
Great job. The Alter Ego Effect by Todd Herman was an interesting read.
are you related to max verstappen ?
łnvestment Helpline⬆️⬆️📩⤴️⤴️,
“Shoe Dog”. So inspiring and fascinating
do I understand a thing about finance? Of course I don’t. Am I still going to read every book Nate recommended? Of course I will 🏃🏻♀️
1984!
95% of the time I don’t like to keep books that I’ve read, because I don’t usually go back to them. And given the minimalistic lifestyle, I’m curious if you buy and collect all of the books you read. What do you do to get good prices on books, or do you buy them new on Amazon?
łnvestment Helpline⬆️⬆️📩⤴️⤴️..
I read The Psychlogy of Money and the 5 min Rule this year. Both of them are great books to read and are worth your time!
Thanks for the recommendation.
“Why We Sleep” by Matthew Walker was something I read earlier in 2021 and it quite literally changed the way I viewed sleep and it’s functions. I would often neglect sleep in place for staying up on my devices or watching tv but this just gave me a whole new perspective on the importance of sleep and what it’s really doing for the body. Definitely something everyone should read.
This is the number one book I recommend to anyone! Totally agree with you 🙂
I’m gonna read it definitely…thanks for the recommendation
It’s indeed a good book. Agree that everyone should read it. I like that the book is based on a vast number of scientific researches.
Me too. I started reading that book this year and I thoroughly enjoyed it:)
Could you make a list of the most important books (for you) about economy?
Can somebody put the list of books in the comments.
I’m upset I don’t read as often as I want to. I’m starting principles by Ray Dalio. Been wanting read it since I’m a fan of Ray. Thanks Nate!
I can’t recommend enough Atomic Habits by James Clear! Enjoy!
“Thinking, Fast and Slow” was the most insightful read I had in 2021. It made me think about how I view risk.
This sounds good, is worth a purchase?
Do you have some recommendation for a high school student to reach financial stability?
I’m a delivery drive so I’ve been listening to audio books. I want to listen to 100 books this year. I have all the time in the world considering I work 60 hours+ some weeks. Finished “awaken the giant within” by Tony Robbins. I’m listening to “Can’t hurt me” by David Goggins. Love both. Will definitely read some of these! Thanks Nate!
I’ve already read 1984 by George Orwell, and it’s really good. I’m really happy that it was included in your book recommendations. The other book recommendations sounds interesting, too. I’m looking forward to reading Narrative Economics, Token Economy, and Valuation.
Na na na na na c’mon
Nate, great video and some excellent books. Of the many books I read per year including business type, is also my very favor per year reading is the Bible.
“Man’s Search for Meaning” is one of the greatest books of all time!
I love you ❤
Hi @Nate, can I have the list of the books that you have mentioned in this video? Greatly appreciated! LOVE LOTS!
Nate, in the future, always give a name of a book’s AUTHOR.
It’s kinda important. 🙂

Great one
How do you create a reading habit? I used to read a lot but because of all the technology now a days, my attention spam is really low.
I used to read fictions during school days, then the reading habits just disappeared. Then tried to practice reading books again during the lockdown last year. Have a read a few since then. The best book I read in recent time is Influence: Science and Practice
Book by Robert Cialdini, thanks to Nate for suggest in his last years video.

BIBLE IS #1 BOOK YOU SHOULD READ IN 2022
Finally, a channel with someone that reads; that doesn’t recommend fluff. A list of books I can read that doesn’t make feel as if I’m wasting my time.
Great selection of books there!
Factfulness is a must
You could do the bookclub on discord. Have a channel setup for discussion, etc
Gotta check out the book NATION OF CHAOS, it’s available on Amazon
“Be Water my friend” – Shannon Lee
Best philosophy book ever
The Bible is the greatest book you will ever read
When reading textbooks, do you read word per word or do sections that you are interested in/skim read?
I used to read books often from childhood into my mid 20s. Once I got my first smartphone it destroyed my ability to concentrate on a book 😢
For me was opposite, before I was good reading, but having a small tablet with all my favorite books 📚 make me read everywhere 😸
I also try to get through a book a week. Outside of anything financial, as odd as it may sound my favorite book I read in 2021 was Green Lights by Matthew McConaughey. 2nd would be Kids these Days by Malcolm Harris
Great video! I’m always up to reading great books, these are a variety of selection and my type of books (I’m an introvert as well). I will definitely getting a few of these books.
You are free to invest now the market is affordable and profitable strategies☝️
Great recommendations. I am really enjoying Millionaire Fastlane. Interesting and he’s got a rather crass way of writing, so it’s awesome.
I recommend :
//Candace Owens BLACKOUT//
Great recommendations! I’d definitely “Procrastination Elimination Method” by John Isaac to this list 🙂
You should really mention who the book is by when recommending books. I notice you did not on 1 of your other vids also. Its easier to look up and it is giving credit to them.
WE SHOULD ALWAYS USE CASH. YOU SHOULD READ ABOUT HOW IT AFFECTS YOU AND SOCIETY AND PRIVACY AND GOVERNMENT CONTROL IF WE DO NOT HAVE CASH. VERY SCARY!
Man’s Search for Meaning is 100% the book I think everyone needs to read in their lifetime!
Introverts Unite! great video
Awesome books, but please don’t swing them around. It makes me dizzy and I can’t see the name of it and the author
Where can I find the books
Do “valuation” have a chapter on how to read annual reports ?
Fuk the books, can we read u?😁😅
Thank you!!! I was in desperate need for some new books lmao
Why did this book, “The Journey of an Invisible Woman,” not make it on the list? Please help me to understand why.
Navals Almanak

Happy Money by Ken Honda. Arigato money coming in. Arigato money going out. Appreciate what money you have and give money to receive money.
Im currently reading Steve Job’s biography. Huge book but great read. Will definitely checkout your options.
Planning on reading Guns, Germs and Steel this year already, love the videos Nate!!
You are showing the books, but not showing what the books are. Please show the names of the books.
Hello Nate. Once again, great content. One thing I feel to highlight here. Not all extroverts are good at conversations. I’m an introvert myself, and I can talk to people at length if I catch their energy well. On the other hand, I have seen many extroverts who are easy to go to places and pick any person and talk about their interest, however they might as well just be mindlessly blabbering. There is need for both and more spectrum of people to learn how to talk.
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, it’s a captivating philosophy in fiction (modern classic). About people dedicated to excellence in an entitled society. Big book but worth the time. It’s my all-time best
10 books you need to read and only one of them is fictional? It’s a shame.
I just finished reading “All Quiet on the Western Front” after a long stretch of non-fiction books prior to that. Now, you can sit and read all *about* WWI—the trenches, gas, rudimentary tanks, and so forth—but I guarantee that you won’t receive the same gut-wrenching realization of the horrors of war as you would by reading that book.
Erich Remarque was a WWI soldier himself, and I could feel the pain of loss—the torture of guilt from brutally killing someone who is just the same as you but only a different nationality. You may read a book outlining the death statistics in that war; you might learn of the physiological effect of the gas they used, and you would know in your head that war is evil; but read a fictional novel depicting the treacheries, expanding your mind to encompass the psychological horrors, and you will know it in your heart.
Fiction did what non-fiction never will: It helped me feel.

Anthony Bourdain – Kitchen Confidential
bourdains first book, narrated by himself on audible, great book

Matt patt
In one of your book lists, I believe you recommended dale carnegie’s how to win friends and influence people. I was wondering which edition you recommend. I’ve looked it up and there are several. I tried reading the first edition not knowing it was 1 a bit outdated and 2 nothing but stories (so far….70 pages in) and no instructional direction whatsoever. I have the one for the digital age coming in but I would like to know your thoughts on which one may be best. Thanks for all your information. I love your content!
Stupid question maybe but are you the brother of Mike O’Brien the tech YouTube reviewer? You look like twins 😀
