This was quite a long earthquake. It initially started with the earthquake warning for areas closer to the epicenter but then the alert spread to the rest of the Kanto region. The shaking lasted for more than one minute.

I’m a Californian and I can’t believe they are just like, let’s capture this on camera for social media. We have earthquakes but honestly haven’t had a huge one since 89. So I think if we had one at that magnitude, I would duck and cover. Small after shocks though we might act like how they did here… “is it big enough?”
