Obviously it it too late to increase fixed rate mortgage duration, so what moves does he think the BoE should take? Crank up the base rate faster? Slower? Says very little here.
It’s too late to increase mortgage durations now, but the guy is saying why wasn’t this done earlier, and how come the BoE don’t even know how many people are on a 2yr vs 5 yrs fixed term! Anyway the rate rise so far isn’t enough.

yes this is all true, but i would still rather be in this boat than the US. Your going to get crushed by energy prices same as us, and your housing market has been way more out of control. And you have big health care bills we dont have.
