Meditation allows you to raise your awareness and consciousness to observe your thoughts, rather than just indulge in them. By setting aside the time to meditate for 10 minutes a day, building up to 20 minutes, you can reap rewards such as a clearer mind, better decision making, and feeling much calmer in stressful situations.

Yes, when youre really stressed it can be hard to sit in silence. The best way to get back into the habit of meditating is to do a guided meditation.
