1) invest in a vehicle GPS tracker
2) don’t keep valuables in your car
3) Do not purchase crappy Korean cars
4) get rid of the crappy Korean car that you own
5) use shifter locks and etc.
6) watch where you park
7) get a adequate alarm system for your vehicle

I’ve been trained to only use deadly force to protect human lives from an immediate deadly threat. Never to protect mere property. I don’t want to go to prison, so I comply with that training. However, someone stealing my vehicle can have a direct adverse effect on my ability to survive and provide for my family. They used to hang horse thieves. That’s all I have to say about that.

I was a juvenile probation officer a in 2005-06. Back then for a crime like this, they would put them in “Juvie” for just 21 days at their first offense. Then on the second offense place them in a ranch/program for a few months depending on the judge. We had one that stole a Lynx bus, like a Greyhound type of bus here in Orlando, his dream was to become a chauffeur/driver for the company. He only did 21 days twice.
Obtw! One killed a Sheriff in Cocoa about to retire. He turned 18 and will face the death penalty.
