Olivia Newton-John died at the age of 73. Her husband posted on Facebook saying she passed away peacefully at her home in Southern California. Newton-John is best known for her role starring as Sandy in “Grease” alongside John Travolta. Newton-John had been battling breast cancer for decades.

I had such a crush on her as a 14 year kid when she played Sandy on Grease, especially when she sang “Hopelessly Devoted to You”.
It’s a very sad day because she takes me back to a very nice & innocent time in my life. This world will dearly miss such a beautiful woman like Olivia. May God help her entire family in this moment of terrible grief.

I am very shocked 😳 about Olivia that she passed away during battle of breast cancer. I always liked her as singer and actress from old “Grease” movie, too
When I was a kid and saw grease the first time I had a crush on her now I’m 48 and cat believe she is gone. What a beautiful woman she was. And her voice was also beautiful!!!! The world will never see and hear a beautiful singer such as her for the next 100 years and possibly longer.

Just last week I was at a store and in front they had like one of those old school newspaper vendor machines and inside it was filled with old LP’s. Sign said “free take one” so I reached inside and got Olivia Newton John Have You Never Been Mellow.
RIP. My first childhood crush.

I went to Huntington Park High School where some of the film scenes were filmed and I remember my mechanic teacher Mr donsley showing us this great movie and the history behind it I am now in tears at 41 and asking God to save me. God bless everyone and I hope you find faith this world is temporary
