After cov-id began many restaurants closed their dining rooms and did take out only, and many are still doing it. My favorite Thai place started messing with me after a while after I hadn’t realized why they had a bunch of receipts from customers showing large tips taped to the counter at the register. They expected tips even though they provided no service, and they messed with my food when I only payed the exact receipt amount in cash.

As a server I think it’s unfair that we have to pay the busser the bar from our own tips, they’re not my employee.
I ordered food at a fast food restaurant called Fazoli’s. When I paid, the pad asked if I wanted to tip. I did not. So I dined in. No free bread sticks were brought out to me (as had always been the norm) by the employees making well over $2.13 per hour. Business was slow. That was my last visit after several years of being a customer.
