I guess we can just ignore the fact that Cronobacter sakazakii was isolated IN the baby formula, and found to be the cause of the infections in the babies. Pesky and inconvenient evidence, isn’t it?

This is copy pasted from the CDC website: “CDC has completed laboratory testing for the two available patient samples. The analysis performed by WGS did not find these samples from patients to be closely genetically related to the multiple strains of Cronobacter found in the environmental samples obtained from Abbott Nutrition’s Sturgis, MI facility. Furthermore, WGS showed that bacteria from available patient samples were not closely related to one another.”
Thanks for demonstrating your ignorance though. That bacteria is naturally occurring everywhere. They just recalled it out of an abundance of caution while they performed their genetic testing and investigation. Pesky inconvenient ACTUAL evidence, isn’t it? Sucks to talk out of your butt then get exposed for it, doesn’t it? 😂😂

Having a 6 month old, I can tell most stores were empty. Had to buy German brands online, which are higher quality and cheaper.

why would you be feeding your baby baby formula feed your baby your breast milk it is healthier
Not if the mother is unable to produce milk, or very little, or the baby won’t latch, or has some sort of stomach issue requiring specialized formula. My child would have died of malnourishment and I would probably be in jail right now if I hadn’t supplemented with formula. In the old days the baby would have just died, and that was that. Mothers not to blame, and the world carried on. Infant mortality was much higher before formula, and considered normal.

For some reason, so many women this day and age are unable to produce breast milk. It’s scary to think that if it was this common for women to not produce milk, back in the old days before baby formula was invented, so many babies would’ve died, and they probably did. I hope I’ll be able to produce breast milk when I have kids, it’s scary how many people solely rely on baby formula!

@Conor my bad then a lot of people are judge mental to others because they’re like that but yeah some people can’t make breast milk they might have some gene that makes their breast milk unhealthy. Sometimes it actually is healthier for babies to take formula instead of breast milk.

For decades now, I have known NOT to trust the FDA. If the FDA were our parents, someone would need to call Child Protective Services.
