Russia has launched a new wave of strikes on Ukraine’s capital.
Explosions rang out just before dawn in Kyiv.
Officials say two administrative buildings were damaged but air defences shot down 13 Russian drones preventing further destruction.

Whether drones go to the intended target or not, Russia achieves its objectives. Russia sends cheap drones, Ukrainians use expensive western weapons to shoot them down. Then beg for more weapons, Europe has to spend more taxpayers money to support them. In the end Europe experiences higher inflation. Longer the war, EU will be in trouble.

About second best army, I don’t argue with you that NATO (i.e. US) is the number one army in the world, and yet we can see that this war is in fact pretty much NATO against Russia (with Ukraine being the cannon fodder). Can you imagine a second best army fighting against the number one army in the world, plus the second largest country in eastern Europe, and still slowly gaining grounds and pounding Ukraine until it cannot even have electricity in the capitol?
